ok hello and welcome to my tutorial for most people building cities is hard so here is my small lesson on how to build a starter town. Frist build a city boundry this will be the area you will build in i use road to build my boundrys . next do your plumming so that that aspect is out of the way . Next figure out what kind of power your city will use try to use a low polluter to start . Now you are ready to start to build your city . Choose a landmark to be the central eye point in your town , this landmark will be a major attraction once your city gets going . Your Landmark can shold be placed near a river or coastline this will make the city be more realistic , but if your city is not near any watre just build it in the center of town .Now we start to build some residential zoning so that sims can move in . After you build some residential they will need some jobs so our next step is Commercial . Now at this point the city should be getting off to a good start there is only one thing left to do add in schools ,police,fire , and hospitals alsop dont forget the parks .
