Well the steam community is usually a community very interested in modding, so some of them will eventually turn up here I'm assuming. (It's pretty high up in the Top Seller chart because it just came out today - it'll probably go down after a few weeks, and then go back up when the infamous steam sales start coming around.)

true, but if you really don't do anything stupid and use common sense on steam, you'll have a 0.9% chance of having your account being hijacked (and even if it did happen, you can still get it back through customer support.) Although I do admit this thread is useless for those of us who have the game already

I meant that if only the other simcity games would be available on steam, then that would be awesome. (sorry if that was vague) If you don't know about steam, it's a very popular game distribution platform, and sc4 on steam means increased attention to the game. (which means more players, and hopefully, more new modders for more new custom content )
