The_sanderson: I really like the highway terminus and the raised land in downtown really makes the area much more interesting! 9/10

Nice pictures! I will try too... There is a rule that we can post only one picture so I thought that I will post an animation9.gif and by the way see if it works.

So here I present you THE KINGDOM OF AKRA harbor located in Shefan city:

Mother of Invention Something about that shot seems off. 8.9/10
Ill Tonkso I love that building in your picture. A quaint midrise. Even though I love the picture the palm trees..Not so much 9/10
The Arrowz You gotta love Bixel's creations. Even though I see you have a Blue Platter Place problem 9/10
Shadow Prophet The picture is heavily photoshopped. It's okay though. Also seems like it's alittle unrealistic. Even so It gets creative points 8.5/10
The Sanderson Downtown seems to be interesting. Even though I think you need a slope mod - 8.5 /10
mitsos With some proper seawalls it will be nice picture . But with the lack of sea walls it seems unrealistic 7.8/10
Shadow Prophet Definately Simplympics Bid Material! 10/10
roboo1 A nice piece of work you have there. It's even animated, I like it. Also I like the sea wall construction pic...10/10
Art128  So dark and nice looking.I like it. It would look nice in a rain scene as well.  8/10

nice shots everyone, here's one of mine:

It's not photoshopped and it took me a long time until I got this perfect flora. I'm showcasing here the border area between Kaibesia (my CJ) and Vietnam. A army camp is in the middle of a dense jungle, you might see some tents and jeaps. Just enjoy:

Art128, Rather than mentioning what I like about the picture, it would be easier to mention what I don't like (the list is shorter). What I don't like: Nothing. 9.74/10

Explodingsims, Great work on an older seaport. I love that big building at the top and you used the space very well. 8.33/10

Shadow_prophet, Nice downtown, you have some great buildings in there. I've never been one for w2w skyscrapers so that brought you down a twinge, but not too much. 7.48/10

Feliwi, Very impressive jungle, the time it took you to get the flora right was well worth it. 8.23/10

Here's one from me:

This suburban area is just south of Brownsville and is a typical American road just off of a highway with K-Mart, Walmart ad Home Depot etc. You can see the onramp to I-29 E in the bottom corner of the screen.

MCO1254: Creative use of transit enabled lots, first of all.  Most importantly, great job getting that suburban/rural feel. My only problem is that it's a more crowded than the suburbs I've seen, but that's just in my area.  8/10

Art128: A good, eclectic blend of buildings and trees.  Although it certainly doesn't look like any city I've seen, maybe that was your intention.  7/10.

My first contribution to this thread is a scene from an upcoming CJ.  Hotels near downtown Pampalona, Florida.

I'll bite.

Shadow_prophet - Nice night shot but more custom content? 8/10

Feliwi - Nice jungle! Although, I can't see to much, but still good. 8/10

MCO12354 - Very nice buisnesses! Although, I do see some Maxis sneeking in. 8.5/10

art128 - Not bad, I like the use of custom content. 9/10

Wheezy - Beautiful! Although you are missing some stuff, but 9.9/10

Yes I know about the ugly Maxis school.

@MCO1254: Lookin' quite good and realistic, but easy to build. It' a typical American boulevard. It could be a little more special and unique, my rate: 7.5/10

@art128: At the first view I would give you 10/10, but by lookin' closer, there is onething, which is note not 100% realistic in my point of view: the passage or metro station next to the church has to many openings and most churches have shrines or other holy things in the basement. At least most church basements are larger than the curch itself, for this reason I wouldn't have built this passage in here. So I'd give you 9.25/10!

@Wheezy: not bad, not bad! But anyhow it isn't looking that aesthetic as it could look like. For a downtown there is too much empty room (eg. parking lot, tennis field). but the concept isn't bad, so I give you 7/10!

@un1: In fact your concept is quite good as well, but anyhow it's looking a little bit boring. I'd suggest to use more flora and to make a better transition between the empty grass land and the houses' gardens. So I give you 7/10!

Now here's a coastal view of mine. The pic is from the city of Mae Suya (from my CJ Kaibesia) at a waterfront area, in the "Old ports". Please tell me what you think and if there are thing to make better!

art128: 8.5/10 - Looks great, very natural, perfect combination of old historic buildings with modern, fairly-tall high rises you see a lot in European cities. The only thing, however minor it is, is that the soccer field kind of looks out of place a bit. Other than that, almost perfect.

Wheezy: 7/10 - Decent buildings overall, good parking lot, but the sharp transition to the low rise buildings to the right and some sort of awkward random patches of grass take something out of it. Not bad, but I think needs some work.

un1: 6/10 - Pretty typical. It's fairly realistic in terms of the placement of the shopping malls, but it's relatively bland, and the change from the grass on the houses' lots to the default ground, or from the electric wires to the grass looks a bit strange.

Feliwi: 9/10 - this is great, tropical setting and the trees, the elevated rail going over the water, the hotels on the side, the boats, but particularly the houses with the docks. I'm giving you a 9 because I think it's just slightly better than art128's.

Here's mine, just realized it has two Maxis buildings in it, but I like it anyway:

dlo$ruhj: 3/10, There is not a clean transition between downtown and rural/suburban. Pause thingy shouldn't be there. UI should be gone. Repition. A number of other things. I however, like your use of BATs.

Mitsos: 6/10. Nice use of ploppable BATs, I see how it would take a long time to do, however, it looks too clean, almost sterile. Aswell, it doens't achieve the look that I would think was being attempted at. Final note: Looks very Dubai-ish, I like it.

Mitsos, interesting work you did. I like how you have different "phases" of buildings around the park. 7/10.

Art128, fantastic job on this area. I love how naturally you blend the modern and older buildings. The carousel is a unique touch. 9/10

Dlo$rhuj, I'm sorry but I'm not that impressed. There are a few things I don't quite understand, like why the monorail station blocks the avenue and why you didn't wait for the two drive-in theatres to develop into something a little more realistic in a downtown area. I will give you credit for the length of the monorail though, it looks like a lot of people use your monorail so good jub on creating an effective mass-transit system. 3/10

Blue Sinjid, Nice work by you as well. I like the mixed use of highrise towers in your pic and I like the sunken highway in the background. The building across the street from Hitachi is nice too, where did you get it? There's a little too much green space for me, but overall very good. 7.5/10

Here's one of mine for you to praise or bash. You're looking at the business district of Marquette.
