I'm posting this in the Rate one image and the Berate one image so I can get positive and negative feedback =). It's supposed to resemble a tranquilled, peaceful freshwater spring.

If you look closely enough, there are Junipers and Spruce saplings in there with the Ponderosa pines. I only chose them because I don't want to mix up the coniferous with the deciduous! And the grid lines was just careless of me.

aleking: 9/10. The only thing I don't like is the way your avenue turns into a tree!

Aleking: Stunning as is per 9/10 I love the way you intergrate transport networks into your cities.

Neongamer: Pretty standard 6/10 It's nothing special to be honest and it looks a bit sparse. I would reccomend taking a peek at some of the rural CJs, nevertheless it's a good start.

Shadow_prophet: I really like it 8/10 It has a very realistic feel to it in the editing, as if there are proper clouds over head.

Shadow_prophet: the landscape and the perspective looks great. should that be a waterfall or a glacier. if its a waterfall its a bit too huge. 9/10

neongamer: the is some "action" missing. maybe some walk around trails or different trees: 6/10

aleking: very realistic, great cj, btw - 9.5/10

GingerBlokey: nice houses and the park in the front fits well 7.5/10

here is a part of my city.

GB: Mhh,, I'm not so sure... I really like it but it looks a bit, I dunno... boring :s sorry! 6.5/10

hijodecordoba: Not too bad, but try working more realistic next time. Maybe I could also advise spending some time with Photoshop? 6/10

neongamer: Blue trees?? 4/10

TheSixCents: That's worth a definite 9!! Good job on the building and editing 2.gif

Should I post one of mine? Okie!! =D It's a bit old, but I don't think I've ever posted it before.......... so, here it is!!:

neongamer: I like your course, the blue trees are kind of odd  6/10

TheSixCents: looks really good, I'll give you a 9/10

CarmineHilton: the building looks good, but there are some grass textures by your avenue that look out of place. 8/10

Here's one of mine

UnkleS27: 8/10. That black building on the right looks very out of place.

CarmineHilton: 7.5/10. Nice building diversity, but the grass textures (as mentioned above) sorta ruin it a bit.

GingerBlokey: 8/10,  Some non-Maxis trees and a different sidewalk texture would make it better

hijodecordoba: 5/10, I don't like the railway slopes and I cannot see a concept in these parks

neongamer: 7/10,  I don't see a reason for the small land area  between the streem and the lake

TheSixCents: 7/10, overall great done, but a grey street isn't suiatble at all as surrounding and connexting ring for the plaza, also such a plaza should be a big MT hub (see the subway station) but I cannot see a GLR station and only one small busstation!

CarmineHilton 7/10, too much highrise, too les free space

UnkleS27: 7/10, the buildings are great but there are too much blank plaster spaces IMHO

urrenato: 9/10, nice overall atmosphere especially as a dawn pic, but you may think of removing some of those oneway - arrows!

Now here is mine:

langehafflz4.jpg

Yes, I know the Maxis American is too colourful but as there is no real alternative steam train ...

Nardo: 7/10. Nothing too exciting, and I think there's just about enough space to put the NAM shallow train turn in there...

And for the record, mine's like that because there are no PEG puzzle pieces that fit otherwise.

Its been a while since I browsed the forums, but Im back.

UnkleS27 - 8/10 - I like the overall feeling, but the water level is a little low for my liking.

urrenato  - 7/10 - I like the building style, but the arrows kill it for me. Im also curious how that little pool of water below the waterfall can hold all the water coming down... Its got to go somerwhere.

Nardo69: 6/10 - Well, its a little plain for my taste. There is nothing special about the picture in my opinion. It is a nice train though.

With that out of the way, here is my contribution:

BigBerta:  Very nice. I like the coloring and the Euro feel to it. 8/10

SirUnger:  I like the skyscrapers, but the coastline feels a bit empty. 7/10

And now a contribution from what may be my upcoming City Journal:

urrenato: A nice Parisian flair, but the arrows kinda ruin it for me. 7/10

Nardo69: Clever use of diagonal fillers to hide the jagged edges, but a little plain. 6/10

bigberta: An excellent pic! A wild mix of architecture, but it works for me. 9/10

SirUnger: Some repetitiveness and a little too much open areas for such a dense area. 6.5/10

Nerd_Guy: Beautiful rural setting! The power lines are a nice touch and adds to the realism. 9.5/10

and now, here's my pic:

neongamer: Griddy 6/10

aleking:Very good use of Somy's buildings. Love the sunken highway especially. 9/10

GingerBlokey: Simplistic but it has a nice look about how the buildings are displayed. 7/10

hijodecordoba: Nice but its a little dull for my taste. Nothing really stands out.6/10.

neongamer: It's decent 6/10

TheSixCents: Very nice intersection 8/10

CarmineHilton: Grass texture. But other than that. 8/10

UnkleS27:Too much open space for me lol. 7/10

urrenato: Personal taste. I hate one way road arrows. 7/10

Nardo69: Plain but I do like how the atmosphere is set. 7/10

bigberta A 9/10 deservingly. Sets the atmosphere right.

SirUnger: Hmm I don't enjoy the grass. and some parts are too maxis for me. And this is just a personal taste. But lol that McDonald restaurant looks so lonely and out of place.

6/10

Nerd_Guy: Good rural feel to it. 9/10

Dsrwhat316- Lovely. Everything blends so well. 9/10

Hiigarar: 4/10... Dispatch arrows, something that resembles a regurgitated metal table in the bottom right corner, multiples... Nice try though.
