El Burro, I think the pic is pretty cool, I really like the effects you used, 9/10.

MasterPlanMan, I like the pic but hate the mountain in the fore ground, 7/10.

Her's another one from me.......

I see you have one of Oppie's trains...

sucks SCC's download section is down, what, permanently now? Hey do you have that one dutch train with the cab raised over the front. They look funky but the design is used in japan too..Anyways if you got it can you send it to me?

Okay, anyways, thats a great pic I love how you have all the appropriate bats, it really looks like a real place in the Netherlands... Plus you have the common sense to use a mod to replace the fugly maxis trains which is way more than you can about some people...

    9/10

Lordofthewise- I like it, mainly because its a more realistic low wealth setting... gotta get rid of those Mysim hovery things thou. 8/10

Shame the SCC downloads are gone. Oppie made a great set of UK emergancy vehicles that aren't on STEX (can't find them no matter how hard I look so I guess their not there). I had them, then my PC got wiped and I was without the internet for... peh, bout 7 months.

Glenni- Haha, classic 60's planning. Damn those hippies! 8/10

    Very realistic LordoftheWise 9/10

Nice work Glenni although some roundabouts might finish it off 8/10

This is the parish village of Mary-by-Lea, a main road to Acton city runs through it.

rooker1: Picture 1: Nice, the way you have included a ship is cool, 8/10. Picture 2: Nice again, well detailed, 8/10. Picture 3: I like the variation, though the rapid change from high density to low density looks a little strange, 7/10.

aleking: Good, it is a shame the overhead power cables can not continue on the bridges, but that is generally down to the downloads available, 8/10.

El Burro: Excellent night shot, 9/10.

    MasterPlanMan: Good scenery, 8/10.

LordoftheWise: Good job, though I recommend you put some kind of barrier between the railway line and a children's playground, also to improve your pictures I suggest you turn the u-drive it icons off, 7/10.

Glenni: Interesting concept, having large buildings in the middle of no where, 8/10.

    AaronPerry,

Between creating the custom lots and actually plopping everything (and destroying and replopping many times when it wasn't just right!) this section alone probably took over 4 hours, I'd say. This entire city has really taken me forever to build because it really IS almost all plopped, and my computer isn't exactly lightening quick!

Glenni: great work, i love the way you used ploppable water. 10/10

    ledge69: nice looking 8/10

jglei701: looks good, although im not a big fan of BSC canals, i think oppie's water texture is better. 9/10

ledge69: I like the way your city is laid out and the way you used el-rail, however, minus for abandoned buildings and the road going stright across your railway tracks above the station. 7/10 Here's a night shot from me: pic1nx7.jpg

Mulefisk 10/10 your image looks so scandinavian to mee. Looks like the "old town" in stockholm with pedestrian-only streets, w2w building and such. Great work!

Oh, wow...that's absolutely stunning! I don't think Maxis was counting on that much realism coming from this game...

My only negative opinion is that the diagonal building in the lower left corner looks slightly out of sync with the rest of the picture (what with the smoothly rounded corners and different building style). But I don't even think that's too bad...so I say 9.94/10! Awesome picture!

Mulefisk- 10/10... wow, reminds me so much of Edinburgh. Hope those W2W buildings are on the STEX because im gonna be hunting them down!

Fox- 9/10, awesome skyline! Not a Maxis building in sight... i think (still searching, lol). Only thing stopping it being a 10 is those palm trees... they look kinda plastic.

A house by the swamp (messing with Scorchin's flora set)-
