You guys are doing a great job! I thank you all for your time and effort. The reviews have been informative but short and precise. They are a good starting point so far when wanting to browse through the many outstanding CJs we have here. Keep up the good work! -
Thanks GreekMan! Don't have too much too show yet but here is a little teaser of late night passenger train running through Belaris: 5-19 ~

Ok this is long overdue and some of you are may not even be around anymore. ~ Replies ~ From page 3: waldner ~ Thanks for the high praise! rewright ~ Thank you! I appreciate your building style as well. Many commercial buildings are plopped though. The residentials are all growables except a few of the maxis ones used as props. ilikehotdogsalot ~ Thanks! I have seen your CJs as well and you do some pretty nice things. hamsterDK ~ I get my inspiration from north american cities like Seattle , Baltimore, Pittsburg and Chicago. DJGspiniNhitz ~ Getting them STEX ready is something I would need lots of help with. The lots are scattered in both the power and park menues and don't have proper names for identification. They would also need a tutorial so others could figure out how to use them. Godzillaman ~ The rail is sunken and embankment type lots are placed next to them. You can make an embankment lot in the LE by placing the lot foundation threshold to zero. granto93 ~ You most likely have found them by now but for anyone else looking for the sunken hwy lots they are from buddybud. Dsrwhat316 ~ Thanks. That's one of my favorite areas too. Glad you noticed! gabry85 ~ Thanks for the kind words! jacquilina ~ Thanks as always! Glad you like the hwys. GingerBlokey ~ Thank you. I am honored to have you think its inspiring! Nardo69 ~ Thanks again from another great builder! I have always liked your work. Dirty industrial is what drives all of my cities as I live in an industrial city and area. I also think industry is very crutial to game play and creating transportation networks, jobs, population, and demand. peguin007 ~ Thanks! It can be tedious at times but I think the results look nice . toxicpiano ~ Thanks! Your help with aquiring Japanese BATs has been much appreciated. jrhnemo ~ Glad you like it zoomed out now. Sometimes I tend to concentrate my style too much on closer zooms. sEAhAwk fAn121 ~ Thanks for the kind words. I am glad you like what you saw. michaelshayne ~ Realism is something that can difficult to achieve and I apprecite the comment! edmonton_stinks ~ You have likely found the row homes by now. Anyways they are from Simgoober on the STEX as mentioned a few posts down. dralin321 ~ Thanks! From Page 4: The_Hutt ~ Glad you like the hwys and close zooms! I tried some oneways along side but there where some key intersections etc.. where they would not work. Besides all the hwys around here have 2-way service roads so I don't think realism is much of an issue here but I appreciate your comments! owenluby ~ Thanks. Yes we do have similar syles and I really like all of his work. Voulpiotuis ~ Thank you! Building transportation is what still seperates this game from all the others out there. cowcorn ~ Thanks! GMT ~ I appreciate your comments. You do nice work as well! Cam790 ~ Thanks! I think some of my next updates will be a bit unique as well. I am going to try something a bit different with raised passenger rail. Spike345 ~ Its back! Hope you are still around! JoeBob4 ~ I quit playing for quite some time. politicman ~ Thanks. Glad you like it. Deathtoall ~ Thanks! I like those areas as well and town houses in general. There will be more areas like that to come. yoshikoroyimara ~ Thats quite a nice complement! Thanks. WillG_75 ~ I am glad you appreciate the realism and layout! flame1396 ~ Its not dead for now anyway. ccecill ~ You probably already found out by now but you will need the latest NAM and the hole digger lots on the STEX. With-out the NAM it can't be done. jerzeslugga ~ Thanks! Its just takes a bit of time plopping single road tiles along the coast and you should have no troubles. RJN ~ Thank you. I am glad you find it realistic. KingTitan ~ Thanks! Hope you are still around. bbfan02 ~ Thanks! jdwalker ~ It can be done fairly quickly once you play around with the NAM pieces and the hole diggers. Simfan34 ~ Thanks! Ded ~ Glad you think its pretty! The Big Z ~ Glad you like the trees. I think its nice to plop lots of them. Most cities around here have plenty of trees. Even my old hood in NYC is starting to grow out nicely. mayorbk ~ Glad you find it beautiful. Thanks! jacqulina ~ Thanks again. Sorry it took almost a year. aleking ~ Thanks for stopping in my friend! I Hope to see more of your work as well. anarchy0029 ~ Glad you like the night shots. I add plenty of lights to many of my lots and don't let buildings with crappy nightlights grow in any of my cities. s_olah ~ Thanks for the great compliment! From this page: doliveroio ~ I lived just a few blocks from the west side hwy for many years. Thanks for the nice compliment. Sorry the update took so long. Dsrwhat316 ~ Looks like you have got the hang of the LE as well! I like what you are doing. Thanks for stopping by. hope to here from you again. fabsies55 ~ Thanks! I demolish a lot of gowables and historicicalize the ones I like. It can take many sim years to get good results. kingdiz_55 ~ Yes. I always start with an industrilal area linked to a residential one. I rarely link residential areas directly together. Tia-may ~ Thanks for the compliment and suggestion. The Euro road textures do look better although I had to retexture some transit enabled lots. Godzillaman ~ Glad to see you still around and following along. I hope you like what's to come. Gotta love the Chelsea though. I could build a whole city of them! fabsies55 ~ Most of my buildings come form the STEX, LEX (BSC), PLEX (SimPeg) and CapitalSimCity.com. Have fun downloading my friend! roboo1~ Its nice too see you appreciate all the details. It can take quite some time. Godzillaman ~ Glad you like Belaris so far! Those row homes are from the SFBT team. There are several styles to download. When individually queried they also provide valuable population demand stats for your city. phoenix7 ~ Thanks for the nice compliment. Its nice to hear from someone who remembers Glen Harbor! art128 ~ Thanks! More to come. Tia-may. Thanks! It took close 50 sim years to build the townhouses I think. I also burned out a power plant along the way. Thanks for all the kind comments everyone. I might have a few more pics to upload later tonight!

Thanks for the kind words everyone! I promise I'll get to all your replies after work later today. I had to start a neighboring city to help fuel some growth for Acropolis. Here are a few teaser shots of the new city named Belaris: 5 -15 ~ 5-16 ~ 5-17 ~ 5-18 ~ Hope you all like the teasers. I know its not much but I want to hold off before I show more of the city. In the next update I will show some more new ways to do rail lines and some raised avenues/roads.

The Source- Custom Lotting at its Finest
MasterPlanMan replied to Dsrwhat316's topic in SC4 City Journals
Very nice LE work indeed! I really like the open look of all the plazas and the canals. Great details as well. I also see that you like to transit enable parking lots, etc. One thing I dislike about most Maxis and custom BATs are all the parking lots that end up having no street access. Its also nice to see one of my own lots in your city! Keep up the good work and I very much look forward to seeing more from you! -
You've done such a nice job with the rural end of things! I vote for making bigger cities and towns simply to see what you can come up with! Keep up the good work!

MasterPlanMan replied to Jillybean86's topic in SC4 City Journals
Very nice indeed! I really dig your style and was pleased to see something quite different and realistic just the same! I can only imagine how muddy the town gets when it rains. -
Beautiful work on the ports! Nice and realistic. Keep up the good work!

Time for a revival! Thanks for all the kind words everyone! I've been playing again and figured I'd post some updated pics. I made some changes to the downtown and surrounding area. I also started on the burbs and will show those areas later. Lots more custom rail and transportation to come. Acropolis continued: 5-1 ~ 5-2~ 5-3~ 5-4~ 5-5~ 5-6~ More to come!

Finally took a look at this thread. I got a kick out of seeing everyone's pics. Looks like a lot of young folks here or maybe that I am just getting a bit older these days. Here is a more recent pic of me staring off into space I guess. To the left of me is famous deep see diver Richard Pyle.

Beautifully done! Its good to see a fine city builder like you still hanging around! -
Very cool! As usual you put together some of the best stuff I have seen. Its always a pleasure to check in and see what you are going to create next..

Nice updates! Things are really coming along nicely. I particularly liked your industrial districts and port. Look forwad to seeing more!
