Yes, It would have fitted in those threads as well. But I thought of it more as a close-up of the cooling tower. - Eye of the beholder I guess.

     Bringing some cozy scenes from my newest major suburban city, Bayaguana!     

 

Starting with the central town square, surrounded by a multitude of important city buildings and at a crossroads of one-way road pairs!

 

 

Next, we have the north plaza, located right at the edge of the farm fields of the city outskirts. Future city growth in this direction is very likely!

 

 

Then we have the plaza from the east, next to a dramatic change of direction, and littered with spectacular water features!

 

 

Followed by the plaza of the south, a lengthy floral strip next to one of the busiest metro stations headed to Guamaní!

 

 

Last, but not least, here I have the plaza from the west, serving the premises of the city's community college, and separating the urban center from the coastal freeway!

I had to remove a bunch of cow spawner lots because the "moo..." sound in the town is a bit too much, and replaced them with static cows MMP.
Worked on the details for this ranch while doing so.

A surprisingly coherent complex of residential blocks beside a higway, though the poor neighbours on the leftmost one are concerningly close to that elevated avenue!

Wondering what terrain mods @matias93 uses for his cities / metro region. Also wondering about the sidewalk replacement mods you're using, those are some nice sidewalk cobblestone / brick patterns!

If my sight isn't playing tricks on me, that would be the brilliant Veredas Santiaguinas mod, which I (a native Santiaguino) had installed for the longest time.

Yup, and the terrain mod is CP Missouri Breaks.

The sidewalks are inspired on these ones, which are typical of the city, but that sadly have been started to get replaced with more generic designs:

The City of Guamaní has quite the spectacular waterfront, featuring idyllic beaches, a legendary fortress, great entertainment, impressive towers and a busy seaport moving around all sorts of goodies!

 

 

 

Meanwhile, the City of Bayaguana also joined in the railway action, adding a mainline rail corridor to compete against the busy freeway flanking the city's eastern inland side!

Been spending a bit of time lately after a looooong hiatus in my region. These are some pics from my largest city Quincey pop: 1,060,000 just about everything in the city including landmark buildings has been grown via RCI. Maybe I'll post some more stuff. First city I attempted to get over the 1,000,000 mark. It was a bit challenging but very rewarding, 95% of the tiles in the entire large size map sector have been made "historical" to help maintain the balance of RCI to residents.

Got a nice cross-section of Playa Samaná, the glamorous touristy coastline of one of my big boy cities in the Kingdom of Borike! It's possible to get a little taste of everything: farmland, suburbs, towers, beachside amenities, beefy road transit, beefy rail transit, and a snippet of industry even!
