These cities are so great

I have a problem. Is it possible to get at least some skyscrapers with sim city 4 deluxe edition? Or i need to download some updates?

I have a city with 700.000 ppl,but i cant get any big skyscrappers. The biggest is Ryan appartaments and Bert insurance.

Or perhaps problem is because i have 2 cities in region? I have 1 industrial and 1 with 700.000 ppl and 150.000 comercial..... I dont know where is prob....

Any help would be great.

I am wondering what mods or updates you use? My buildings looks a bit different,but at least i am starting to get comercial sky scrapers

i got a lot of textures (dependencias) and NAM (jan) but nothing that should change the appearance of the solid ground. and all high rised buildings (except the default once, of course ), are out of the stex. it has taken me a lot time to collect the buildings (thanks to all BATers all around the world!!! you all do a great job)

sorry, but can somebody tell me if there are 3 pics or 2? (there should be 3)

All cities look awesome! U3D: The effect is ok. I'm not exactly a photoshop pro either (it would be a while before I even attempt an effect similar to that). I just tint images.

The biggest 'downtown' I ever managed to achieve.

Here's a shot of my not yet complete downtown.  All of the main buildings are built, but I still need to add most of fillers especially in the college district (lower right) and the entertainment district surrounding the train station, as well as finish the waterfront (only completed along the city hall).  Still, even incomplete, the CBD sure looks pretty at night with all of those lite buildings !
