Where do you live cammo...its not like that here, ours has parking ramps attached and 5 floor outlying buildings. I think it looks great....you might want to add more rooms...maybe at a 90 deg. angle?

That hospital is soooooooo funky. Very cool. You should make more residential buildings to balance out with your amazing commercial lots. the RLS buildings were amazing.

SG

If you decide to put an MRI shed on the side of the hospital, don't make it too large. A one storey building with a 25x30' footprint would suffice nicely. BTW, most small hospitals with MRI's are insufferably pleased with themselves and tend to advertise the fact that they DO have an MRI with a nice sign on the side of the building.

If you would care to put another add-on onto the hospital, I would suggest an ambulatory care centre. This is where the outpatient clinics would be. These sort of additions usually are no more than two stories tall and frequently are more modern and of a different architectural style than the main hospital.

I don't think any other add-on beyond that would really be necessary but of course, this is your project and I don't want to tell you your business. I am really pleased with the progress you have shown thus far.

Wow.. lots of interest in this one. The ER entrance is separate.. just on the same side (front) of the building. I plan on making 3 driveways of sorts.. one directly to the ER, and a regular entrance / exit loop. All conected together, but separate entrances. I am also thinking of adding a couple small buildings out back, with connecting hallways/walkways. These could be anything you imagine... MRI, patient outcare, morgue... lol....

The helipad will end up a separate prop, but I'll leave it as part of the whole thing until render time, to keep the look straight. Then I'll make it eparate in the hopes of having the in game helicopter use it.

Alright - just a forewarning, in order for the helicopter props, spawning, and dispatch to work properly, you must give the lot the Occupant Group for the Large Medical Center.

Outbuildings are definitely a good idea.

    Hey SG

I was having a problem with your ChuckECheese's.  I am not able to get a query box to come up on either the grow or the plop.  I even re-downloaded it and then reinstalled it.  This is the only BAT of yours I have a problem with.  Haven't seen anyone else describe the issue so I figured to let you know.

Keep up the great work.  The new med center is looking great BTW.3.gif

Looks good SG. If that little building out back is for the MRI scanner, don't forget to add a sign!!

Loooking good, but I would find a warmer color for that building out back...but thats just my opinion. Oh and an idea i have had for some time, It would be interesting if you made seperate plopables that would match up with the building so you could add on to the hospital how you want as a city grows so it would be unique to each city.

    Thanks SG

I reinstalled the BSC Essentials and in the process found a couple of dupes as well.  Not sure what actually was causing the problem but it is fixed now.

I really like how the new hospital is shaping up.

    SG,

I was down in Milwaukee last night, and I ate dinner right around the corner of the Mitchell Building. Wow is it beautiful, and wow did you make a great representation of it! Nice job!

I think you mentioned something about possibly doing the building next to it (I can't remember the name right now, but I think it's the old Chamber of Commerce building, perhaps?) That building is in a little worse shape (a bit more worn) but it's beautiful too.

And do you remember which building you based the Milwaukee Library off of? My fiancee and I were driving around (for about 5 mins) the Milwaukee School of Engineering, but I didn't see a building that resembled it...

I still think of doing the other building, and still have a collection of pictures. Just haven't gotten to it. The "Milwaukee Club" is located across the street from the courthouse(?) and an historic hotel, the Pfister. Both of those would also make neat BATs.. maybe someday....

Yeah, I was driving downtown with my fiancee last night before the concert and suddenly just KNEW we were by the Mitchell building, which I hadn't known when we made the reservations. I wanted a chance to see a bit more of it, but there was a nice little breeze off the lake last night and she was cold... Oh well, I'll just plop it in game and have another look-see!

Btw, I think you were wondering what the back side of the building looked like... it's pressed right up against another building, so it basically doesn't have a back side!

As Swamper stated,  Bobbo662 has done a few.  Just search the STEX for Mobile or Bobbo662.  Hope that helps.

SimGoober, I'm new to Simtropolis and the STEX. BUT, looking at your work, I am AMAZED. Your realism is unparalleled, and everything you've done is extraordinary. In fact, I went and downloading almost all of your buildings. Keep up the GREAT work. 4.gif

Looks good. One thing, perhaps you should enclose the area around helicopter pad with some fencing? I know of few ground helicopter pads that are wide open to whomever happens to want to walk across them. Besides that this looks great and something I'll definitely use.

    SG

I'm just back from a week in Vancouver so the first thing I did was check here to see how the hospital is going. It looks terrific!! About the only suggestion I would make is that perhaps you should post a sign over the ambulance bays to remind wayward sims that this area is "ambulances only, NO PARKING''

    Cheers
