It was just a textured box stacked on top of another box!

not bad! the awnings are a little too saturated for my taste, and the walls need a metal cap on them, but it looks pretty good otherwise...and yeah get a better roof texture!

WOOOOOOOOW!!! that awning shines like a precious stone! I know that green stones are called emerald and the red ones is called ruby. But what are those blue called? This is a $$$$$ store.16.gif

BTW perhaps you should consider a little more dull awning. Besides that it looks good!2.gif

I liked the first rooftexture more than the latter. The first one was more rusty and dirty! The second is a bit boring. Another solution may be to add a vain lot of roofjunk to the builing. You know, buildings are usually not built to look good from the sky. But we have to make our roofs look good cause of the gameview.<ahttps://community.simtropolis.com/assets/emoticons/10.gif>

...Question about the CS§§ problem, are you absolutely sure that you were trying to replace the building on an existing CS lot? From what I can tell, the wealth level of the lot doesn't matter, but the type does (if memory serves). ...

phillippbo - I was playing around with my jobs and lot wealth. If you set lot wealth to something that cannot be supported by the available Sims, it will degrade. I set one of my servo's to Medium Wealth and plopped it into my basic test city. It deteriorated (went grey) almost immediately. So you need to set the lot wealth to the minimum you expect a city will support. I made my servo's low wealth.

FINALLY, a grocery store. This looks really great for your first BAT building. Keep up the good work! Oh yea, I sort of like the lighter roof a little better, but none the less it looks great.

Here is the back, with the glass in place.  i also added interior walls and floors.  Once I get the front atrium done, I'll put more details IN the offices, and play with lighting. I am thinking I will have to light it day and night, to overcome the shadows on the interior details.  Just have to play with it.

Is that atrium going to cover the whole front? if not it would be cool to see a brick walkway with a fountain and plants on either side.
