hey SG, I was wondering something from you, you are an excellent BATer and I love your lots, I already requested an O'Charleys in the BAT request Thread but I havent seen one yet, it might just take that long to BAT something but I was wondering if you would consider doing that, and even though you do sit down resteraunts not Fast Food, what about a checkers aswell? I would love one of both, I love southern Resteraunts, and after finding your Cracker Barrel and Waffle House I can assure you of that.

Well crap, I don't usually do many requests, but after a quick google search, I found a picture of an O'Charleys that inspired me.  So I gave it a whirl....  pretty small, no? lol.. just the beginnings...

Well thanks and that is really nice, I woulda underlined but as I usually do I am using quick reply, I love your lots. I am a MX fan and the greatest rider of all time Ricky Carmichael has a nickname, he is nicknamed the G.O.A.T., for SC4 BATting, you are that G.O.A.T, aka, Greatest of All Time. I cant wait to see the Final Product, it looks like it will be awesome.

Well I have to say that I'm really glad to see you back uploading again. I know you've been getting some annoying comments, but hey, what can you do - we all get them. If it's any consolation, know that a good 95% of people out there are genuinely pleased when they see one of your creations and those "Do it MY way, not YOUR way" people are the critics that you just can't avoid - but if anyone should be ignoring them, it's you.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with anyway, make sure you go out with a bang for 300.

I've never commented here before, but thought I would express my gratitude... I don't know what my regions would be without all the custom content you've made, particularily the realistic shopping centers and grocery stores. Glad to see you're back doing more stuff.

I've made some progress.  Actually a lot, but then GMAX crapped out on me, and I lost about 15 minutes worth of work... argh... Ah well, I'll finish the back walls off another day.  I caught an error while taking these picks, on the sidewalk texture.  It has been fixed now.

I don't spend as much time here as I used to ,and noticed all of a sudden you were slowly releasing things , and PEG was getting closer and the race was on...(all in good fun)but it makes me so happy that you've come back! I love your creativity and sense of humor , which I have missed greatly!  As far as the "do it this way" stuff , just remember that you are doing this for yourself ! We are mainly recipients of some fine work , and I for one appreciate it!

 

Now , the O'Charleys is looking great , and can't wait to add another SG lot to my cities!

This isn't a request but rather a suggestion, to go along the lines of your Fuk Mi Sushi; in Vancouver there is a Vietnamese restaurant called Pho Bich Nga, its small, simple and kinda funny but its a real place, there r pix on the net for reference if ya do decide to BAT it; otherwise I love your work, thanx.

Hi, Simgoober, I just wanted to stop by and say I really really love your work. I hope you know that for every critic of your work there are 500 that are eternally grateful. The quality and humor you inject into everything you do sets you above and beyond anyone else.

I wish you the best as you approach 300, even though it will be a loss to the community to see no more Simgoober projects on ST. Thank you for enriching our games, and making it something in which we are able to express our creative selves more fully than before. I hope your last 6 BATs are the best we've seen from you, and I wish you luck in everything you do.

Hello! I love you and Peg's work. I am sure that you don't do any favors but I ask of a suggestion. All over the STEX, LEX, etc., I have looked for any building dealing with my hometown, Birmingham, Alabama. If you don't know what the city is about, it was famous for the Civil Rights Movement back in the 1960's. There are really nice buildings in Metro Birmingham such as the Wachovia (formerly SouthTrust) and the Regions (formerly AmSouth) Banks. Also, the old Alabama Theater, the only theater remaining in Birmingham, is a great place to make a building for SimCity 4. UAB, (University at Birmingham) is one of the top university hospitals within the southeast region. Birmingham has a rich history both economically and socially. I am not saying that you need to build the buildings, but these would be some good ideas for future refrences. However, it would be apprecieated if you would do this because it means something to me and maybe other people who live in the city and play this game. I appreciate your time for reading this message!

Well mimolay SG isnt making that many more BAT's, hes gonna re-retire soon and is basically about where he plans to stop at, well along with the ones hes making. but I would put these in the Request Thread, it doesnt work well but you could try, or request someone like Spa to make them. I think he would make them possibly, btw are you talking about a small one or a big one like a skyscaper? note for you, im from huntsville. are you an auburn or alabama fan? That way I can know to like you or not. . I might make them if i start to understand BAT, I would love to cause they are from Alabama, but at this point dont count on it.

I am a huge fan of pretty much everything you do on here.  One of my favorite lots I have found that you made is the GooberGen Labs.  Unfortunately I have been unable to locate one of the dependencies for the lot.

Do you have any idea where I can find this?

Hi, SG, just wanted to say thanks for the many hours of enjoyment playing the game with your great designs.  Because of you my Sims can enjoy the Onion Blossom at the Outback just like I do.    Of all the things you've done, tho, I think your houses are some of the best.  They're really quite authentic, attractive, and grow well but not too much.  You'll always be a pillar of the STEX, and I hope you're having a (Pho King) great time, too, on your way to 300.

RawSac, I think this might be the one, but I'm not positive.  I know I have it and the GooberGen Labs, and they both seem to work, but SG, correct me if I'm wrong.

That appears to be the right one. I made that (the Labs) a couple years ago, and I'll bet most of the prop packs have been condensed since then. As a matter of fact, I'd bet many of the old prop packs and dependencies I list are out of date. BarbyW updated most of my lots while I was away, and uploaded them at SC4D. Those should have current stats, links, etc.

SimGoober, one request that I do have. I love all of your stuff. I use all of your Buildings that have Ploppables with jobs in them... could you add ploppables to your .zip. I really don't know how hard it is to do, so my question might be way out of the question.

Generally speaking, I don't use plop lots in game, so I don't make them. Ironically, it takes me quite a bit longer to make a plop lot than a growable as well. I'm not saying I won't ever make plops, but I just don't make them for every lot. Specifically, anything that seems to grow in game fairly easy, I don't make a plop. But sometimes there is no rhyme or reason, just whatever mood strikes... lol...

Well, I need to report a problem with one of your bats. I just downloaded (finally) the Abuelos Restaurant, the ploppable is a static landmark. Just wanted to let you know. =) Otherwise the bat is wonderful!

TBH, I hate making plops as well. Growables are a quick & easy job, but plops... an unpleasant sensation in the lower rear body region, especially with those icons & descriptions and whatnot.

However, in case of commercials the solution is really simple: Get the extra cheats dll buggi posted to Simtropolis, and simply plop the growables wherever you want them. No icons clogging your menus, guaranteed CS/CO functionality.
