Aren't the lakes in Madison seperate? Forgive me if I'm wrong. I don't have a map and I've only been there twice...

Oh yeah, forgot, it looks great. Better than what I could do. My maps are usually just flat with rivers here and there.

yes i think they are seperate from what i saw but because of the elevation differences when it renders the map ingame it joins them

As a native Madisonian I can easily prove our city is hilly, but not that much... we don't have a mountain range on the west side. Also, why is the isthmus completely severed?

Also speaking as a resident, Madison does have a lot of lakes, but they're all separate. Plus, Madison is above the kettle moraine; any mountians that may have at one time existed in Wisconsin, Minnesota, or Michigan were wiped away by multiple glaciers.

The topo data used for this seems a bit off (to say the least)... the lakes look nothing like this, the isthmus is obliterated, and the terrain is unusually mountainous (we've got hills, but nothing like what's in this map). It's a nice looking map though--just not of Madison!

Umm... i live in Madison, and it doesnt look like that... there is an isthmus between the two lakes... thats were downtown is...

i live in madison and good for a challenge to build on, but the lakes are seperate in real life, and the maps terrain is very eggsaturated (actually the yahara river makes a way for water to flw through the dirrerent lakes, but it is very small). other than that though, it is a very nice map!

correction for second to last comment of mine i meant that the MAP is a challenge to build on , not the city.

Yes The Lakes Should Be Separate Because The Capital It Is The Isthmus
