Nordstroms is part of our Northwest style. Good work JT. In Seattle the Macy's monster is delivering the final blow to our beloved Bon Marche which we've had for over 100 years.

Awesome as usual! Bart King, author of "An Architectural Guide Book to Portland", calls this the "Nordstrom Fort". This store sits on the north edge of Pioneer Courthouse Square in downtown's main shopping area.

thanks everybody! glad you all like this big stand alone store. GrampaAl, i just started a thread to learn how ot make CS plop bug free. so hopefuly this means that there will be a SC plop in the near future :)

We used to go to Nordstroms back in junior high and make fun of the people buying $5000 suits and dresses. Then we'd go skateboard and rollerblade in the squrare till we were kicked out. This was back in the early 90's when rollerblades were cool of course. :P

Right on man, we need these stores, im so sick of the pathetic attempts to create malls, and shopping areas, keep em coming, do i smell a saks, marshall fields, maybe a Neiman Marcus coming ;)
