Actually the best money cheat was... typing fund, accept the 15% bond or whatever, and typing fund again, and accepting again, then going to the bonds and issuing another bond. This would give you the % bond which gave you 1.4 million a year. I believe that worked in all versions. However I only know for sure that it works with Simcity 2000 1.2 (SCUK) Mac. As to the secret, I personally don't know what it was either, however in one of my cities I did get this which i haven't ever seen anyone else get, even at the hight of simcity 2000 era. It could be the secret that you heard as a rumor, not really sure. Anyway the city uses a lot of cheats and I built in like 96, and then one day this series of events happened to the city. (note that really is the population of the city 87 million).

In a recent post I was reminded about NOB's car ferry that was based on gundam as I remember and was wondering were I could find it. i remember trying to find it sometime ago but wasn't able to find it. marrast Yeah sorry marrast about that post, I had been writing a nice long paper and was writing the post in the middle of the paper. Tunafish Yeah same thing happened to me when i tired to use the default height for the terrain, I had to lower it probably half way and then raise the bottom of the river/lake/ocean so the embankment wouldn't look cut off. Go take a look on the previous page and look near i think the bottom for a screenshot by psteverific, he built some canals with it, but just look how near the land and water line is.

marrast I knew it wasn't going to be something clear cut, I forgot it probably was part of the BAT and not a texture, but meh it was something like 4 am when I thought of it and posting about it. I just was nitpicking about dual layering the transition piece on top of a regular piece (appears to me they darkens), oh well. Anyway thanks for your time.

marrast great job on your embankment set. They look great and have that same high quality look that all your BATs have. Anyway I have enclosed a screenshot of them in action and also have pointed out a small request. In red is a diagonal piece but would like to request just that 1 x 1 as a filler, since sometimes I had to dual layer the diagonal lots (using the transitions from diagonal to straight) to get that half walkway, half grass w/ tree look next to the road. If you already have included it and I missed it just disregard and cary on. Looking forward to the Embankment final. Click for a larger view (735k).
