About This File

Original Description:

The pollution condenser will make any air or water pollution in your city disappear!

Thanks to everyone who made this possible! your all fantastic. lol. hehe.

Cori Edit:

Nothing has changed in the lot itself, but it seems many peeps were mislead to believe all air and water pollution would disappear if plopping one of this lot. That is untrue. There is no affect on traffic pollution and the others are simply reduced by 1,000 over 250 tiles.

Located in the Parks Menu.

Here's a before and after pic in the Big City Tutorial using @Simizen's Air Quality Index Dataview:

Before:

01 Before.jpg

After:

02 After.jpg

Note: That was after about 8 months running time. *;)

And here's a little table I made showing the stats:

Lot Stats
Lot Size 4 x 4
Plop Cost §5,000
Total Monthly Cost §5
Bulldoze Cost §100
Park Effect 100 over 100 tiles
Landmark Effect 20 over 5 tiles
Power Consumed 0 MWh/Month
Water Consumed 0 m3/Month
Air Pollution -1,000 over 250 tiles
Water Pollution -1,000 over 250 tiles
Garbage Pollution 0 over 0 tiles

You can plop multiple to increase the pollution reduction effects.

Out of all the lots, all the mods, and all the other files this is by far the my favorite. I have had to reinstall the game several times due to conflicts and this is always the first file I redownload. On a scal of 1 to 5 this gets a 10. LOL It is the best of the best though.

By the way for the people that say that its ugly, I don't agree. I always stick this at a far away corner of a map with some trees and a dirt road going up to it and it blends in very well as it is small and dark colored. For those that can't find it you have to look very carefully in the parks menu. I have scrolled right by it more than once.

A refreshing change from the other antipollution I used. It made the entire map instantly red on both air & water and left me with a 0-resident city like Chernobyl.

Ya lo coloque pero aun no me quita la contaminación. ^_^

@SimCity tony, I have completely updated the description of this file which better explains what it does and does not do in the game.

Google translated to Spanish:

He actualizado completamente la descripción de este archivo que explica mejor lo que hace y lo que no hace en el juego.
