About This File

This is an early version of PEG's Seaport Village that had been available on his Legacy release. It pre-dates the OWW/CDK versions and has a very different appearance. It includes a coastline lot as well as others that can be used in any location of your cities. As mentioned below, the coastline lot (RTK Deluxe) was designed to be compatable with PEG's RTK lots, so some coastline terriforming may be necessary for all the features to be displayed correctly.

This classic Nautical-themed shopping center will look great anywhere in your city... especially along the shores or banks of your rivers. This is a "hybred lot"... a savory mix of Commercial Lot and large Park. Not only will it increase local demand & desirability... and make your Sims love you even more, it will also put a tidy profit into the city coffers each month.

You, in your infinate wisdom, cut a deal with the developer who had a great idea but was strapped for cash. The city fronts the money and provides the land... the developer leases the property and makes §800 payments each month. This baby will pay for itself in just over a year and be pure profit from then on. Such a Deal!!

* The income from these lots will report correctly in your Budget's Business Deals screen.

There are three (3) versions of the Seaport Village contained in this archive.

1. PEG_Seaport-Village_15.dat - Designed to be placed anywhere in your city.

2. PEG_Seaport-Village-RTK_15.dat - Designed for the RTK, but flexible enough to be used anywhere.

3. PEG_Seaport-Village-RTK-Deluxe_15.dat - Designed exclusively for the RTK... complete with its own bank & river floor pieces. This version also requires that the Maxis Plugin_032_MayflowerPort.dat be installed in your game.

**Be sure that Maxis Plugin_032_MayflowerPort.dat be installed in your game if using the RTK Deluxe version.

** This lot has been tested on the Rush Hour version of SC4. It will not function properly on pre-RH versions.

Installation Instructions:

After unzipping the file, copy the .dat file(s) you wish to use to your C:\My Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins folder. The Seaport Village will appear near the bottom yof your Parks Menu the next time you start the game.

NOTES:

All three versions of this lot have the same game properties.

The RTK version has the rear fence removed so it can be placed on the edge of a RTK river bank. It also has the rear-most side fence sections removed to allow smooth integration with the RTK Trail Park.

The deluxe RTK version is a full RTK add-on piece, complete with bank and river tiles. There may be some terrain modification of the coastline for features to display properly. You must remove any existing RTK pieces from the area the Seaport Village will be placed. The deluxe version also includes a few additonal props including the Mayflower ship which requires that the Maxis Plugin_032_MayflowerPort.dat be installed in your game.

** Also note that the Seagulls are back... sorta. I've substituted pigeons for the gulls, but ripped the sound effect and put it in the lot. Good performance... great sound!

* This lot contains the Pegeons0522_LS patch which alters the duration of the Pigeons_Effect in lots specificly designed for this patch. It will not alter the Pigeons_Effect in other lots that use the default effect. Nor will it conflict with the Pegeons0522_Universal™ patch which alters the duration of the Pigeons_Effect in all lots using the deafult effect.
