Welcome to a new but older version of Pegasus's River Tool Kit (RTK 2). RTK 2 is a predecessor to the currently available and most recently released version, RTK 3. Like the other early Pegasus items, it was also available on PEG's Legacy release. RTK 2 consists of 5 different styles that can be placed along a waterfront. They can also be placed away front water tiles anywhere in your cities. That requirement does not exist in this version. As an additional note, mention of an earlier version of RTK refers to one that is not yet available on the STEX.
This version of the RTK is a rather radical departure from the original. Gone are the underwater tiles that were used to 'anchor' the lot so it could be placed in the water. In its stead, the 'anchor' has been replaced with a 'land-only' tile and moved to the top of the bank.
There are pros and cons to this new style which include:
Pro: The game's underwater graphic bug will not effect these lots.
Pro: The individual RTK sections no longer have to be placed in water. They can also be used as retaining walls, etc...
Pro: Separate lots for 'dirty' and 'clean' corners have been eliminated by use of revised bank textures. This means fewer items in the menu and easier lot selection and placement.
Con: Because of the required top bank tile, you can no longer place other lots, such as buildings or trail parks, on the edge of the bank. However, a variety of compatible trail park styles and access road styles is under development that will actually enhance any residential, commercial or industrial development you place along the rivers.
The new RTK style is designed to ultimately replace the original... and thus reduce menu clutter. However, the new and old styles can be used together if you choose. You will most likely want to retain an in-use existing style until a suitable replacement style is released.
This 'Plaza' style is but the first of several in development and is designed for high wealth usage. It creates a fashionable plaza-styled river-walk along your river, with each section containing the full benefits of a small plaza. This plaza style is designed to be compatible with many other lots that use a similar style.

** These lots should be compatible with all versions of SC4.
The kit contains the following:
1. Plaza Style Bank Section. (§50/§10)
* The standard single tile river bank section
2. Plaza Style Inner Corner Section. (§60/§10)
* The standard Inner Corner river bank section
3. Plaza Style Outer Corner Section. (§70/§10)
* The standard Outer Corner river bank section
4. Plaza Style Central Plaza. (§250/§50)
* A 5 tile wide (5x4) Central Plaza complete with custom fountain, snack areas and a transit enabled parking lot. This plaza is also transit enabled for pedestrians.
** The lot is Transit Enabled to allow pedestrians to travel through any part of the lot/plaza area, not just the parking area. The parking lot will connect to your traffic network and you will see vehicles drive in and out of it. But the parking area will not be used as a short cut by commuters.
5. PEG_RTK-Plaza-Walk_105.dat (§90/§10)
* A non-RTK single tile plaza for extending the river walk/plaza inland if desired. Also usable as a stand-alone plaza. Identical to a standard plaza in cost and all benefits.
Installation Instructions:
After unzipping the file, copy the .dat file(s) to your C:\My Documents\SimCity4\Plugins folder. Ta Da! That's it!
** Once installed, these lots will appear in your Parks Menu.

All Pegasus files are now legacy content and are no longer officially supported. These are the original files as they were created. While this upload has been tested in the game and preformed as expected, issues may occur as a result of modding capabilities that existed at the time of development. Released
A Concrete Style set had been removed from the original due to issues with the menu placement and icons. Those issues have been addressed and the style has been added back into the set. There are now 5 styles to choose from.
