About This File

These are logistics hubs that are usually seen in large industrial areas or more commonly near airports or seaports. These deal with local and regional deliveries hence the amount of vans in these buildings. Many are national postal carriers, and the others are third party logistics buildings covering most of the global package carriers. There are 31 in all. These use the same building as Heavy Equipment Dealers 2, and I decided to split them into two packs, this being the second.

The grow buildings are 4x8 IM Stage 3 Industrial Anchor optimized on PIM-X and the plops are 5x9 landmarks. The list:

Hi, pclark. What kind of fence did you use along the sides of the UPS building? The back of the structure is wide open, and I would like to enclose it with a similar-looking fence. Is there a plopple fence that wouldn't look out of place to use?

It’s a @Simmer2 fence. Will check the prop pack once I’m near a computer

I lied,  I thought I used a SM2 one, but I did not. I'll have to open my Lot Editor to check the exact one I used, which takes a while to open for me due to the amount of plugins I have.

I don't see a fence listed.

These are all prop packs, and a fence would be in one of them. I haven't opened Lot Editor yet due to adding a few props I am making right now.

I've never used Lot Editor before. I can barely use SC4 Terraformer. The only thing I've ever made for SimCity 4 is a custom map of the United States that I use to build on in the game. I don't know how to make bats, props, or anything like that. I wish I knew how to make that stuff.

Got held up at work and Lot Editor finally loaded.

It's SHK Fence 03 from the SHK Parking Pack props.

I assume SHK Fence 03 isn't ploppable. I wonder if the lot can be loaded into a program and the back of the lot can be closed off with that fence. Are there corner pieces? That is not something I am capable of accomplishing.

It’s a prop that you put into the lot using the SC4 Lot Editor. It takes a while to open if you have lots of plugins but is easy to use.

I can't even get Lot Editor to launch on my computer. It freezes up as soon as I start it and says "not responding" on the top of the box.

Oh yeah, I get that too. It eventually loads, it takes like 30 mins for me every time. It's an antiquated program from 2002-2003, so load times are awful, obviously.

Someone should fix that.

Just a question here... I downloaded all the PC logistics and downloaded all dependencies. All are in my plugin folder. When I plop one in my test city, the parking lot is all grass no asphalt. did I miss something? I have NAM and CAM

I believe these are the actual required files for this lot:

In light of that, I'd probably recommend downloading these via sc4pac instead. Some of these dependency listings are unfortunately inaccurate, and when adding things to sc4pac we have some automated processes that can check what items are actually used on lots to produce a more accurate dependency listing in sc4pac. Plus sc4pac handles acquiring all these things for you anyways which is a plus.

I guess I am going to have to add Cycledogg's texture pack to everything. I always thought those were default SC4, for whatever reason.
