Buc-ee's is a rapidly growing American chain of country stores, gas stations, and electric vehicle chargers. The chain was first founded in 1982 in Clute, Texas, which is southeast of the city of Houston, They expanded in 2003 into the Houston area and eventually around the state of Texas. Their massive stores consist of snacks (like their beef jerky and their most popular item, Beaver Nuggets), brisket, a bakery, tacos, fresh sandwiches, souvenirs, and travel items, as well as their clean bathrooms, which is a godsend for any road trip. Because of their customer experience, they have a cult following.
As of 2023, there are about 60 Buc-ee's locations. Their first store outside of Texas opened in Alabama, near the Mobile area in 2018. They have the largest gas station in the world in Sevierville, Tennessee. Their locations are in Texas, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina and Georgia, with plans to expand into Ohio, Louisiana, Mississippi, Colorado, Wisconsin, Missouri and Virginia.
A 10x8 plop and a 6x6 grow lot is included along with assorted Buc-ee's props and eight billboard lots, considering one of their biggest marketing strategies to keep the brand top-of-mind for hungry, weary travelers is the use of clever billboards along the Interstate.
