About This File

Brave Explorers and City Builders! Welcome to the World of Pokemon!

Set before you lies a MASSIVE world based on the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series, specifically SUPER mystery dungeon which includes maps from its previous games as the "continents" of the entire world and its famous locations!

This map is a rendition of u/Eddyk28 's Interactive PMD world map using the UHD solid color version, rendering borders, sea, and land to an appropriate grayscale to have the basic outline! No mountains nor undersea lakes have been rendered, although that might come at a later version (or someone will beat me to it, idk)

WARNING!
Due to the sheer size of this map (128 X 96), I HIGHLY recommend using SC4Mapper (scaled at 100m) to create the region using the given grayscale and config files. Otherwise, you WILL have to wait around 150 minutes just to load the entire map. SC4Mapper should generate it in 15 minutes, tops. In addition, some locations are almost--if not completely--innaccessible due to the limits of the camera for a map of this size, most notably this island at the northeast corner:

Your best access to it is to try to reach reach the city's southwest corner with just enough luck before the camera snaps, but not like there's anything special with it anyway.

SPECIAL THANKS:

u/Eddyk28 on reddit who has made his map open source as a resource for the layout.
Matias93, Cyclone Boom, and SIM-ple Jack for a little help with grayscaling issues for a Freshman like me
Tarkus for helping recreate my sc4devotion account after a couple of fickles with not receiving an email after a password reset. (I'm pretty sure some of us has gone through that)
Lucario Boricua for no reason other than having a Lucario for his avatar (okay he's just been a bit of an inspiration after watching his tips and tricks with Rob that I might use in the future)

Just a little trick I stumbled on-

The more you build towards the corners, the larger your camera view and game access gets. This usually happens with huge maps with large areas of dead space(water). If you can, try and start one, and make a small island with something on it. When you're done with the region, you can come in and sink it with the leveling tool if you want.
