About This File

Villa Savoye, Le Corbusier's 1929 masterpiece. Located in Possy, France and recognised as one of the most influential buildings of its time, now a museum. Thus, a 3x4 landmark lot (default stats) with a matching 2CV. Enjoy!

I think you have caught the style of this building perfectly, an excellent building extreamly well executed. I would love it if you would create a growable version, just as a $$$ residential so my sims could enjoy the lifestyle

Looks cool, at first glance. I'd like to live in such a house, except for the barren yard. Landmark is ok, this building is far to extravagant to see it plopping up all over the city!

now, now, this is a landmark after all, so it wont popup all over ur city. The building is great, I like le corbusier's work, hes gotta be one of the fathers of modern architecture. great building!

I love it. I'm a fan of Le Corbusier's work and the model is just perfect! You should do Notre-Dame du Haut too. a 10 for sure!

The lot can only be placed on completely even terrain or it will create ugly "walls". You should increase the terrain degree tolerance (or whatever it's called).

This is a wonderful rendering of real Villa Savoye. This is one of my personal post-modernist structures. Would you consider doing Fallingwater as well?

The actual Villa Savoye sits in the middle of an open grass field, so this is an accurate representation. The only thing on the lot is the building and the driveway. Nice work, if you do a second version, maybe add some of the plant to the roof.

I like that smart simplicity, though built back in 1929 it looks ultra modern ... PLEASE give us more small clever buildings not only skyscrapers....

If you know anything about Le Corbusier's designs, you won't be blabbering about the lot. A wonderful addition to the game and although I am normally the most vocal about doing growable everything, I think this is more appropriate as a "museum." It is a one-off piece of art/design.

It's nice to see that most of you understand what I was trying to do: A true representation of one of my favorite buildings the way that the creator (Corbu) intented it to be. I tried to do a more elaborate roof garden but the flora I used caused rendering problems.

Great Job! I disagree about it being a growable. It is a true landmark, and should stay that way in the game.

note to people - this is not post-modern. This is one of the first modern buildings ever made. There is only one villa savoye in the world!!
