umm i cant get this to work ive got other mods working but i cant seem to get maps working any advice?

It's one of those everyone knows things that not everyone knows.

You'll need the SC4Mapper program installed and use that to load the Altana.SC4M file and from there you can create the region. Here's a short tutorial by @Cyclone Boom written for using Mapper to create a region from a grayscale image. In step 1 there, click the SC4M button instead of Grayscale image one.

This is one of the best maps I've downloaded. It has fantastic potential. I love the way incoming rivers slow down in shallow waters to flood other low areas. I would recommend Norwegian regional planning..
