It would be nice to have a non-transport lot to fill in the gap if you place these side by side. A one-tile section of platform would do, but better would be another section of platform+roof. Not sure if this would be able to cover the rails though, as it's not a transport lot.

awesome train station - but I'm going to mod it so cars cannot arrive @ the station. I can always add a parking garage for that. It's great for a pedestrian-only transit station in a downtown.
