I still say that not using terraformer is not an excuse. Gimp or PS should be used to smooth out the city boundaries and make the mountains a bit more realistic (and yes, I understand that this is a fantasy map).

 

Or at least reconcile edges. Something besides the really lumpy (and small, I might add) mountains and easily identifiable city boundaries.

 

It looks like this was hand terraformed, and, knowing the effort involved, I'll grade this a 4/5. However, I think it deserves a 3.2/5, and I'll refrain from voting until some of the aforementioned issues are fixed. Unfortunately some troll has rated it a 1, but hopefully the rating will go up to a more reasonable value.

It's probably worth noting that just because the map shows it a certain way doesn't mean you're restricted to making the region like that. Try to emulate how it appears in the show and capture it that way. It will certainly seem more authentic, since I doubt anyone really considers the overhead shots to be really accurate anyways.
