About This File

By Simmania BAT Team (SBT)

A new version available:

Now the file are better organised so anyone can understand, the stats are realistic (according to SimCity 4) instead of the high population stats.

More errors have been fixed, now the buildings do cast shadows, and you can see them in all zooms (in the previous version, you can only see the lots' tiles of the houses in the furthest zoom (zoom 1 I suppose).

Now it also have 10 BATs (just an extra one from the archive)

If the buildings are too repetitive in your city, or pop out too much, and invading your city, just go to the houses' files, and delete some of the .SC4LOT files (make sure that you keep at least one in each file, or you will not get that building and you will have to download this pack, again.)

The file called (Tn house Z 1x2 and 2x2) contains the lots that are clearly (1x2) and (2x2).

Just delete what you don't want.

If you like the high stats (each house have around 150-200 population...) you can download the first version.

This pack have numerous urban w2w residential BATs (9 BATs).

The houses that have solar panels on their roofs have no or little power consumption, they also have no or very little air pollution, I really don't know how does some small urban residential houses can cause air pollution.

They all grow in low density residential zones, except that apartment building (the highest building in the set) that belongs to the medium residential density zone.

The BATs that are included are the ones with the black background (9 BATs).

These houses are all growable, and if you like to use them anytime, you will also find them in the parks menu.

If you feel that you don't like to have them in your parks menue, just delete the file named "Park plopable version" (SimCity 4\Plugins\Tn\Tn residential pack\Park plopable version), the growable version is in the file named "Growable $$ low density residential lots" (SimCity 4\Plugins\Tn\Tn residential pack\Growable $$ low density residential lots).

No dependencies are required.

Tree models are made by kd5rax

If you are interested in the other BATs that you see in the ingame shots, see my other BATs.

In case you wanted to modify to add these BATs to more lots, or to other lots with higher density, you can find them as props (just search "Tn", and you will find them), or as buildings (also search by "tn"), if the building that is 1x1 doesnt fit in one tile, just place the building named "000000000000" for the small house, or "0000002121..." for the bigger houses, and just place the prop on top of it.

More packs will follow.

Any problem or error please tell me.

Great work my friend. Unfortunately for me, none of the TN Houses show in my city...brown boxes   :(  I see it say's no dependencies but maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Try to delete and re-install, try the updated version maybe, but I'm quite sure no dependencies are used.

The low density ones support quite a large amount of people which makes your city have more people then it really should but on my island having a few of them could definitely help with the population. I downloaded them around 2 months ago or 3, whenever it was somewhat new and am finally using them...

Great, and for that reason I have updated the file, the update have a more realistic (according to the game) stats (I used SC4PIM wich gives appropriate stats according to size).

Glad that you like it.

There is something wrong with these BATs. I downloaded them and had them growing in my cities for a while. Everything seemed OK, but after a short while, I got a massive number of people without work in the cities where the Tn houses had grown. I don't know why that happened, but I think that the high number of people that each house has causes some sort of conflict with the game`s simulation. So, I ended up uninstalling and demolishing them. After a longer while, the jobless problem solved, but two of my cities were ravaged and there were significant problems in others. Install at your own risk!

If you did read the description, you'll know that the first version of the file have high stats (meaning that they a big number of people), but you can download the second version, wich have lower stats (that are appropriate to the size of the buildings in Simcity4).

Thank you for downloading.

Yes, I read the description and installed the second version from the beginning. Maybe there was a conflict with another plugin, I don't know. I hope it's only me with the problem because this pack is nice otherwise. I hope other people have no problems with it.
