G'Day Simtropians,

 

This map I wish to present today is courtesy of a request from Flatsim here at Club Simtrop, Thanks mate. It is of his hometown, Vernon, British Columbia.

 

See me up CLOSE and personal.

 

This is a real world map and was produced with dem and satellite data. It measures 32.768km x 53.248km and utilising 16bit mapping technology it is in .SC4M format. Wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer is required for importation. The map is terrain and scale accurate.

 

A readme has been included containing some links and instructions and a picture.

 

 

I think that's all.

Hey I love this, but to add a note, you are missing two lakes... Kalamalka and Swan. I would really appreciate if you could add these in, I am from Vernon and have been on simtropolis for quite a while!

It probably doesn't show Kal lake because it has a higher surface elevation than Okanagan Lake. Swan lake appears to be that little pond to the north. Either way, it's a skookum little map for sure...
