There's nothing wrong with you creating a map for yourself, but I'll just warn you that the STEX standards have been climbing higher and higher...most folks could do this pretty easily with Terraformer (external program) or simply in game, so it's getting a low rating. You don't have to share everything you create fo the game, but feel free to create!

This map is to bland for me But keep working on makeing maps. Try adding so hills and stuff and try useing some Terrain and Water Mods. Whould like to see you getting more creative.

I made it all flat because I plan on making it all into a metropolis. Thanks for the suggestions.

HW to install the map??? where to place the files??? please help........

Go into the Regions folder in SimCity 4, and put both files in that folder, and then create a new folder in the Regions folder, and name it whatever you want your region to be called. And then put the config file in that new folder, but leave the other one outside in the Regions folder. Then go into SimCity 4, and go to the blank region that was created.. Hit: Ctrl+Alt+Shift+R and wait until this box comes up. Go into the Regions folder where you saved it, and hit the file called "Sao-Estiago.bmp", and then it should say "Creating New City". Wait a few minutes, and then the region shouldn't be blank anymore, and it should look the way the region is supposed to look. That should do it.
