can't believe the mods still being developed...

You have to put a bit more effort, sorry but I have to ask, what took you longer overlapping the four buildings or to load the software to do it?

open a lot thread to get some feedback and really think about your projects a bit more, having dependencies is not a issue, the issue here is what you doing and what you need to make look nice.

The world demands more, more creativity while being more realistic. If you stick to that you will go far.

I like the TV station idea, but I am trying my best to get rid of Maxis buildings, not upload them.

Look at the recent uploads with 4-5 star rating.

What convinced the members to rate them so high?


For starters, use the BAT. The Lot Editor is obsolete unless if you are creative enough to fool many people into thinking it wasn't made of Maxis props and buildings at first glance.

Erm... you know you can use the LE to assemble lots that [i]aren't[/i] made of Maxis props and buildings, right?

Paeng is a master lotter using all the custom content out
there. Their is enough prop files to create all most
any thing you want. You also can create props by using
SC4 PIM. So you can go from boring to something fan-
tastic.

I like this lot, and I have to say, I only download lots with no dependecies.
I want a nice looking building, but I have found out that deps make my SimCity very slow.

I'm sorry, but this is awful. Its just 4 maxis buildings stuck together and it doesn't even look right because they overlap badly.

Well I happen to like it I like some of the Maxis style buildings for some reason they look good next to the seaside in my down-towns. so +1 to ya

it is just dreadful. very low quality lotting and it shows a total lack of accuracy and respecto for the game. thumbs down on this. terrible.

I believe that you put good effort into it but the overlapping just does it for me.
BAT tools are a better option at making buildings (hence, my trouble trying to download it) I love TV studios and if you can actually make one that does NOT overlap, and actually look great (and good stats) then I will rate it 5 stars and will praise it. Work on it!! Good Luck!

If the Lot Editor is obsolete, then how do you get the BAT made buildings into your city?,...just asking.

It seems you are mistaken about this Lot not having any dependencies or plugins,...seems this requires "buildings as props vol 1 and vol 2"?([i]no rating given[/i])
