Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House - designed by notable american architect Cass Gilbert in a very popular in nineteenth century Beaux-Arts style. Located at One Bowling Green on Manhattan, this builidng is one of the most prominent example of Beaux-Arts architecture pronciples in United States. In the front of the building there are four sculptures created by Daniel Chester French and representing four continents. Building was saved from demolition by senator Moynihan and completely renovated in 1980 by $29.4 million.
