Improved Gateway Arch 1.0

OK. I barely notice any difference except the lot is bigger. Needs more detail. Not to mention I don' t think many people use this landmark anymore.

The base textures don't even match up and there's nothing to make it look more attractive or realistic. No trees, no fountains, and I don't think I see any Sims either. with all my respect, i think you mean, screwed gateway arch :P anyway, i give you 3/5 on effort and 2 stars for the look, it may be usefull

This Landmark is not for large cities and I even tore it down because of its size.

Another object, if you want to download this, please lower the cost. No one wants to place this landmark their cities if there is no amenities.

in real life the Arch has grass beneath it, with plazas/pathways at both legs and a large staircase in front of it. So neither versions are very realistic. (I'm a St. Louisan) It's a nice effort though, but the textures should match.

how is it "improved"?

My recommendation is that it doesn't hurt to work hard on these things. I and probably anyone with a 5 second minimum Lot Editor experience can make this. Why would someone request this if it would take a minute to make themself.

You've made the lot size bigger, so now its very awkward to place in a city... 'please only good comments' well, it needs to be more detailed, then you might get good comments.

Who the heck rated, Parkermans comment, "It was a request below threshold! Gee wiz. The guys a beginner. Stop with the unreasonable rating of bad comment. GOD!

"Please only good comments" in the description? As if the uploader is anticipating lots of bad comments, which he's sure to get with a lot like this...

My city of 0 people called Archville is made up of nothing but the maxis gateway arch. This will improve my city 100 times over 10/10!!!

When I passed through St Louis in 2009- I found the arch to be an amazing site. However your textures seem a bit off.

I live in St Louis, this is worse than the Maxis version. Add stairs near the front, and the entrances to the underground museum, and a park around it, then it would be good.
