About This File

Hello, all Simtropolitans

I present to you my first ever upload, the "Wide Railway Curves Textured" mod!

As the name imply, this file will add textures under the wide railway curves, which is included in the NAM. Thus it has only one dependency, the NAM.

Also, I would recommend that you use NOB's Railway Base Textures Mod with my file, as it's designed to fit together with this mod.

How to install: Simply extract the zip-file into your Plugins folder. Make sure that it loads after the Network Addon Mod!

How to uninstall: Simply delete the file WRCT.dat from your Plugins folder.

Credit goes to the NAM team for their amazing work, and to NOB, whose textures I have used.

NOTE: I am aware that in some of the textures and the rails have been brightened and therefor may look a bit... well, odd. I don't have the time, nor the necessary experience to correct this. But if anyone want to give it a try, then be my guest! Just remember to give credit where credit is due.

@ComputerGuy Well, the curves are transparent as default. If you mean a mod that completely removes the dirt under the tracks, then it already exists (https://community.simtropolis.com/forums/topic/68471-plex-on-the-stex-community-support/forum/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=item77) But thanks anyway :)

Eggy, Sithlrd98 has made just what you are looking for in the road/avenue wide curves. Anyway, this looks great, but are you planning on making a version for Pegasus's rail dirt textures, which conform to the rail curve? That would be really awesome.

Moonraker: Thank you for your info... The default Nam Wide curves really didn't fit on my cities.

great for custom rail interchanges but this mod seems to be only friendly to flat areas hard to use if terrain is even slightly not level

great idea!! it would be cool tho if an overhang one was made so that we can choose when to put it and when not, much like the one that was made for roads (not Sithlrd98). i cant remember who tho :P
