G'Day All and One,
Today I have a map of Atherton and the tablelands to show, this includes Mt Bartle Frere to the southeast and Tinaroo Falls Dam to the north. Atherton sits on a high plain at about 800m in the midst of the Great Dividing Ranges in Far North Queensland. Mt Bartle Frere is the highest peak in Qld at about 1600m.
I do not recommend rendering this map with any terrain mod as most carry a snow component and being in the tropics, well you get the picture.
I have also flattened the area of Tinaroo Dam and included a plop map to help with the positioning of plop water, as this dam is also around the same altitude it is very difficult to get game water to fill it. I was going to cut the map smaller and reset the elevations to use game water but the ground slopes away to the northwest and it would have become a map of the dam basically, a bit boring I thought.
Anyhow same deal, one requires wouanagaines mapper or terraformer program to import the .sc4m file into one's game. Instructions are in the readme.
This map was produced with DEM and satellite data and is in 16bit .sc4m format.
