About This File
The building stand at Weena 505, next to Rotterdam Central Station. This station is the replacement of the former train station Delftsche poort.
As you all know, Rotterdam was bombed in the second world war and the city lost its picturesque scenery. Over the years, the gap has been filled with lots of modern highrises.
Insurance company Nationale Nederlanden is the main occupant of the building.
Until may 2004 there was a stairs race every year.
------------ original building by architect Bonnema from Friesland -----------
This is version 2 of the Delftse Poort from Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
It is a bat request done for Gizmocity.
I strongly suggest you to remove the previous version.
LM 5x5, 150,000 Plop cost
130 budget and 100 demolish cost.
In version 1, it was a black hole. The people then repainted it to make everybody happy. To celebrate this, they decorated it like some kind of weird christmas tree at night.
Thanks for all the help on this one!
