Here is a small region I made which is 3 large cities wide and 3 large cities long. I used Terraformer to create it. It consists of 2 small islands off the coast of a mainland which is made up of swampy areas along high hills and large plateaus.
As for the crazy tyerrain in the screenshot. I made a maxis value based terrain modification to make low lying areas yellow and made it so that the grass would get greener as you go upwards. I might release it, but I'm still trying to decide.
