About This File

  New023 Presents:

PARK TRAILS!

My first set using the Lot Editor Tool (LE), and my first upload!  This set contains 11 pieces. This set contains park trails. You can see the pieces in the parks menu.

To install, put the files in your Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins directory. Read the ReadMe for more details.

Dependicies
NONE!

Enjoy! :)

By EyeCandy only, do you mean they don't even retain the park benefits? (do they increase desirability?)

When i build them, i can't see the paths. Are you sure that no dependencies required?

Well, that wasn't much of an effort, you could have at least lined up the paths by testing them ingame. Besides a set like this exist since many years already somewhere.

@new023: Never, never, never use your regular plugins folder for making lots. Rename it to something else, make a new, empty plugins folder and copy only those dependency packs into that folder that you are going to use. Check what's new in the prop/tecture list and get to know what comes from which pack. That's also a good way to keep dependencies to a decent amount.

You can also use SC4Tool's dependency scanner, but being familiar with your dependencies is a must in any case, no matter which tool(s) you use. As for the lots, there's indeed similar stuff around, e.g.: https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=798 (there are also packs for medium and high wealth)

The problem is that a park trail set is something so obviously missing from the original game that people were bound to have this idea before you - remember, the LE is ~6 yrs old! You could poke around in the pre-2005 lots and see if you spot something that's interesting, but could be done a lot better using today's BAT props instead of Maxis stuff only. ;-)
