About This File

The Metropolis World Trade Center was made in the futurist style, similar to some buildings in Dubai. The tower has 90 floors and is 400m tall. It was the other BAT in my contest which was won by Godzillaman.

The futurism style gained popularity in the early 20th century, and is characterized by rounded or smooth forms, that are often organic in nature. The style can also be used as a more generic term for any type of building that doesn’t look like what is known to be “normal”

There are two versions included, a stage 8 growable with 10,000 jobs and a landmark version. Both are on a 5x5 lot and have no depndencies. See a full sized picture here and enjoy.

Notice: The darkness and lighing rig error have been fixed now. The only thing that it affected was how the building looked, if you liked the old look you are fine but if you want the fixed version then replce the old version with this.

I'm sorry, but it needs a lot of improvement. I saw your reply to Estepaflip... If you have a render error with max, there are several people at SC4D and Simtro who will be glad to help you. You may need to download the BAT update, since it also effects 3ds max...

... Where is the roof junk? This building seems futuristic, but I would not use it. Looks like an empty dark spot in my city, like Estepaflip said. Anyway, since you are going to re-release, I suggest that you use brighter textures, with less saturation, and that the interesting shape be a bit more simple... 4 for now.

Oops I forget to rate this one. There's no denying there is some fun in this, but seems I am a sucker for realism, I can only give this a 6.

Barby: accidentaly deleted your comment insted of mine with the typo. Sorry about the misclick. nihonkaranws: I have all the updates, the reason max doesnt work for me is that i have 2009, which isn't supported by BAT4Max yet.

Thats a beast lol! I agree wit the fact it looks too dark, but other than that not too bad. Would look a bit out of place in my cities, but i love it anyway! Nice work - 7/10

Question...is the "fixed" look that which we see in the preview images now...or is that the "old" look. I guess I'll download and judge for myself.

Next Question: Is there a way to get the growable removed? The building is unique and I don't want it popping up all over the region. Thanks.
