About This File

This one really needed to be done to be honest, and somebody had to do it. These things are all over the UK sitting there, not being used (some are). Local Landmarks in many a case. So, in the persuit of realism, I made one.

To sweeten the deal, I gave it a function. I made it a cheap, low output Gas Powered Power Station.

Cost £500

Output 1000mw.

Pollution: Air 40, radius, 25.

Dependencies, none.

I really hate these things. Won't stop me adding a few beside the railway tracks in my cities though... great work

For some reason the floor is messed up for me - it just come up at that dark blue SimCity "space", if you know what I mean. Shame, as otherwise it is very nice.

Very nice, would you be willing to make it so that the tank is a timed prop, appearing to move up and down?

What do these actually do? I see them In South Philly all the time and I thought they were frames of large oil/chemical tanks and I wondered what they do.

This is great! Thanks ill tonkso! There are three of these near to where I live in Bournemouth, all still being used. Could you perhaps make the same again but this time not empty? Or could you even make several at different heights? Once again thanks!

We have a defunct one here in Richmond, Virginia, USA at the old city gasworks. I was wanting one to model the city - thanks!

I just found this...I guess there was plenty of them throughout Europe till the 80s.
I know at least a couple of places referred to as 'the old gasometer lot' even a decade after the actual gasometer was taken down, and even by people that didn't ever see any gasometer XD
