About This File

Updated July 28, 2007! All my old files are being updated and re-released to fix a host of minor issues and mistakes I made when I was still learning. The lot and desc files are the same the original meaning that the new version will replace the old one in your cities without any brown boxes as long as you delete the previous version. A BSC Cleanitol file will be available on SC4Devotion's BSC exchange as soon as I have all the updated files released, which will make the job of deleting the old versions easy.

The Kensington Manor Building is based on an actual building in Calgary’s Kensington neighbourhood (the real building is a lot smaller than my BAT). Kensington Manor can be best described as 3 and ½ storeys high. Street level is actually in between floors. The basement can be accessed by a half flight of stairs or a wheel chair ramp directly from the sidewalk. The Kensington Manor Building boasts several high-end stores that include a jeweller, a watch shop and a women’s clothing store. The building also has a basement café (The Danube) that specializes in crepes. The upstairs is mostly office space that is occupied by a development company that builds and designs condominiums.

This is the third entry in my series of Kensington BATs and is part of my continuing effort to diversify our options for small commercial buildings. Kensington Manor Building grows on a 3x3 lot on the Houston and Euro tile sets. It provides CS$$$ jobs and fits w2w. There is one dependency
BSC Spa Essentials See the readme for more detailed stats and installation instructions.

Check out my bat thread here or on SC4devotion for detailed information about the updates or my future projects.

Hydra: Apology accepted. I might have been being just a tad oversensitve. It's just the message I took from your post, although it doesn't seem that you meant it to be taken this way, was that this is junk and I wish Simgoober would come back so that we can have some quality work. In any case, it's finished so lets just forget about it. Thanks for coming back to post.

I am talking about the night image. You can see that in rooms where the light is turned on, everything is empty behind the windows. No desks, curtains or any other sign of inhabitation is visible behind the glass. This also applies to the day view to a degree but it is less strong, as the windows are not as transparent in daylight. By adding that, you would improve the building a lot.

Ahh I see what you were driving at. I find modelling anything inside a pain in the but and really not worth the time it takes for what you get. Thanks for the comment though.

This is a very nicely executed building, half real, half own design. I like this just as much as your SAM building.
