About This File

122 Leadenhall Street is a proposed new development in the City of London, work on which is scheduled to start in January 2007.

Building notes: there are no dependencies for this lot.  Nightlighting is not enabled as BAT on my machine won't export the night map - anybody who wants to render with the night lighting, please PM me for the models.

Ok, I think we all agree that this building model is a splendid BAT - I've watched it grow in the thread, and you did a superb job on it. However, the textures are the point where this BAT could be even further improved: A less pronounced reflection (see the Maxis buildings with window "reflections"), and a less bright yellow roof texture. I hope there will be a Ver.2! It would be a pity if not!

I'm with T Wrecks - if you could do a second version of this one with darker window textures. But in my opinion this is great brillant from diamonds I've seen last month on the STEX. For me (at now 8/10). Do sth with glass!

This is nice, but it doesn't resemble the real design very much. It is an admirable effort, but I'd love to see some colour on it, like Lord Rogers' actual design - coloured pipes and the like, as found on the Pompidou centre.

p2h5 - this is in fact pretty much the same (other than the unwise cloud reflection) as the pictures and models made available by the architects when promoting the plans. However, the yellow framework used around the lift shafts in those models is in fact stolen from another office building, in Wood Street in the City of London, so expect the real thing to differ from the current published images.

a very cleaver idea. I do not mind the reflection, but some night lights would bring this together. 9/10

The reflective texture is a bit over the top and I think it is a little wide, but its its more or less the same as the original design, and it is quite a good model. I'll give it a 7/10 for now, but if the two things I mentioned were edited, I'd give it 9/10.
