About This File

The Acadian Peninsula is situated in the northeastern corner of New Brunswick, Canada. It is home to a large Acadian population. The Peninsula is at the meeting place of the Baie des Chaleur and the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Two major islands off the northeast tip of the peninsula, Ile Lameque and Miscou Island, are culturally considered part of the Acadian Peninsula. The City of Bathurst, New Brunswick (population 13,000) is located off of the Baie des Chaleurs at the mouth of the Nepisiquit River.

This Map includes: The City of Bathurst, Baie de Chaleurs (Miscou Island in the east to the Port of Belledune in the West), Miscou Island, Lameque, Shippagan, Tracadie-Sheila, The Gulf of St.Lawrence (south to Neguac) and The Brunswick Mines.

 Size: LARGE!! - 3713 x 2881 (14 1/2 x 11 1/4 Large city tiles)

Awesome! I was born and raised in BC but my mother's side of the family is Acadian and mostly setled in area covered by this map. Do you consider your self an Acadian?

Love it! My family's Acadian but from the Fort Kent-Madawaska-Edmonton area...any chance you'd do a map like that?
