This Map is of a series of images I Greyscaled and and Mashed together to make a height map its a very simple idea. Now if i could remember whose images i used.. 2 hubble immages, 1 doom wallpaper, 24 wallpaper and shot of shuttle orbiting earth. I am trying this to see the feasability of mashing images for the creation of a Fantasy Terrain. Main reason i am putting it up is for evaluation. This terrain is Rugged with many many hills valeys cliffs and islands but not very high there are also quite a few flat areas. hope you like it
Instructions
1) Download the config.bmp and greyscale image Zotor.jpeg from simtropolis.com
2) If you have a graphic program open the greyscalel region in your program of choice remove jpeg artifact and convert to BMP, Save in a convient location I pick the SimCity root directory in c:\documentsandsettingsusername\mydocuments/SimCity C:\ is the drive your docs are on
3) Start SimCity 4 use ALT+SHIFT+CTRL+R you will get a dialog box.
4) Browse for your files in c:\....documentsand settingsusername\mydocuments/SimCity where c:\ is the drive your docs are stored on click OK
5) The game will then render the image this will take some time depending on your system as a guide it will take 15 mins on a AMD 2700 with radeon9600 1 gig RAM if your machine is slower it will take proportionally longer to render.
6) when its finished Rendering ENJOY

You can use this anyway you wish just keep the readme (this desription with of the map) for if you distribute it . 2 thing i don't want to see it being sold without my permisoin; ST has my permision automatically and passing of my creations as your own.
