About This File

This is a reasonably scale accurate map of the wonderful and ancient city of Cracow in Poland. The dimensions and course of the river are ACCURATE, but the topography is stylised.

Cracow (Krakow) is the third city of Poland and is steeped in history - the astronomer Copernicus studied at the university there. The Spielberg movie Schindlers List was shot in the original Jewish quarter (kazimierz) of the city. The grand square is the biggest in Europe, and the Viet Stoss altar in St Marys church contains the worlds biggest gothic sculpture.

Thankyou ravenlord - I neglected to mention that this map was requested by SLOPPET, it is his home city - but is also one of my favourite places in Eastern Europe :-)

So, after I've seen how it looks in the game, I have to say that it's not so bad done... It's only a part of cracow , so I'll give 'ya a 6/10 - that's a very, very good rating... it looks like I will have to try also making a map of cracow... Thank you very much justinhayward !!!

This looks nice. Haven't downloaded it though, my comp renders strangely. Have you considered mapping Trojmiasto? The Gdansk-Gdynia-Sopot area?
