I used to live in a town on the US-Mexico border and there are cameras like this along the border. Those things were alot bigger than normal cameras. The size is almost perfect. Good work and an excellent idea!

Hey, we have these in Chicago now, some also hang from the Stoplights, can you make some of those too? This is awesome.

Thank you everyone for your comments. I agree the cameras are too big when compared to the other game objects (by about 50%) but when I rendered the original scale model, you couldn't actually tell what it was supposed to be!

Great idea! I wish it looked like it was portable. In the county where I live we have portable signs that tell us what speed we are going. They deter speeders.

I LOVE IT! How about one with cameras for the monitoring of "Red-Light Runners"? These are all over Georgia here. One intersection in Atlanta has 6 on each corner! You get a ticket in the mail with your picture. Would love this if you could do it!

Thought this would be cool, then cameras came up as a "present"....couldn't see them at all....how do I fix?

gquinn - haven't heard that one before! this file has no dependencies of any type, but does have night lighting data, which might be the cause if you don't have the Maxis update.

simcity finally gets a little voyeurism! does scpd have a website where we can watch streaming images?

Hey, I'm using this in a few of my cities, but I never see a difference in crime or see any stats... other than that, I think the size is fine...it's different.
