About This File

Spy-Yatagan-Matt Productions is proud to present our third release on the STEX.  It is part of the Winnipeg Re-creation Project (WRP), replicating buildings in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

The Commodity Exchange Tower is the 3rd tallest skyscraper in the city and was completed in 1979 by Smith Carter.  It is of International architectual style.

This upload includes just a 6x4 Landmark (without jobs) due to its size.

Has no external dependencies.

Please check out the SYM Productions thread and the Winnipeg Re-Creation Project (WRP) thread for peeks at the current projects.

Vote for the next WRP product now at our October poll!

Actually, it is more brown (like in the real night shot) but for some reason it shows up really gray like in the real day shot. As a matter of fact, all the buildings in the day shot are too pale. - CDI_spy

Whadya mean "no jobs due to its size"? Even without the BSC trick, 6x4 grows w/o problems, and I could mod as many jobs as you want into this building! :-P Growable w/ jobs, Plop w/ jobs - it's all possible!

Good job! The textures still seem a bit weak, they could use a bit of tweaking. Also the atrium could use some roof junk. Excellent nightlighting and an excellent, albeit inda boring, model. Good job, I can't wait to see whats next!

I'll look into making it growable... but I won't add jobs to the ploppable landmark seeing as I don't know how... :P - CDI_spy
