About This File

Here is the newest addition to the SCN The SCS Led Zeppelin XD1BT (Experimental Dirigible Bomber/Torpedo) New advances in unmanned warfarehave the SCN re-evaluating the utility of the Dirigible. In addition toits more traditional roles as a bomber and torpedo plat form the LedZeppelin now serves as a lainch and recovery platform for unmannedvehicles. Allowing it to show it's enemies yet another "Stairway toHeaven"

I got the original mesh for this from www. amazing 3d.com it has a free license.

You should write what is in this file. Is it only Zeppelin or Zeppelin with building?

It's a landmark empire state building with a zeppelin ported at it (which was in the origonal plans of the building).

Sorr about the file title It was supposed to be "led zeppelin moored at Emmpire State. The dat file contains The Zeppelin Model docked at the existing Empire State Landmark. It looks great in the game.

I modified the Empire State stats lowering the plop cost to 50000 bulldose cost to 10000 and I raised the flammability to 50. In order to see the difference you have to download the file. It looks a lot like the poster.

i think its a great idea. You should angel the the zepplin swo to make it real. maybe some wires? By the way don't listen to these guys they can't even make a building let alone an original idea!

Personsly I like the idea .even if the zeplon needs a little more detail? color? I live in the sticks and just the other day a large air ship like that went over my house I sware I could have reched up and touched it.

probably wouldnt have been as big as a zepplin friend, they were roughly the size of a large ocean liner in length..... nice idea now i know why you made it btw

I understand why it was made too. During it's completion, they proposed the pole thing ontop to catch zeplins. The pole was placed, but was never used. The pole thing was then removed and replaced by the mast you see above in the years after World War II. The zeplin is quite large though...

Just make a Zepplin that we can fly in a u drive it mission so then we can sail past empire buiilding & others. I want to see vehicles moving like ships and planes etc. I dont want Planes docked in the sky thanks. We have gravity here. This isnt sim mars but its a good idea to start what i said

I think people are missing the historical accuracy of this lot, this was actually accomplished back in the 1930s. The tower was actually designed as an airship port, but it was only done once because the wind was too strong at that alttitude and the airship was unstable.

This is a great idea.... Using actual history in adding unique touches to the buildings. I know there are many other photographs like that one that could be replicated for SC4...
