About This File

No expense was spared to make "Teatro Amazonas" the grandest opera house in the world. Everything was brought from Europe: wrought iron staircases from England, crystal chandeliers from France, classical busts and marble from Italy. The wood is Brazilian, but it was sent to Europe to be polished and carved. A golden cupola inlaid with 36,000 ceramic tiles imported from Europe crowns the building. The opera house opened with a gala performance on New Year's Eve 1896, the best entertainers from Europe and North America were brought in .

Well, I have to say that's the ugliest roof I've ever seen on a BAT, but, knowing SimGoober, I'd bet the real one looks exactly the same.

Simgoober your work is great in all bats that you make, but this Opera House is amazing, i'm a brazilian and i never been at Manaus before, but now you will!!!! Thankssssss 10\10

Nice looking building, but for some reason the query dialog always shows zero for the number of people attending, even in a very rich and old city. Is something broken in the educational part of the lot?
