Canary Wharf Station  1.0

About This File

Sir Norman Foster's entrance for the Canary Wharf underground station in London, England. Functions as a subway station with a capacity of 40 000 sims, and also has park and landmark effect. Shows up in the misc. transit menu. Place the .dat file in your My Documents / SimCity 4 / Plugins folder.

There are still some minor graphical glitches with this lot. I can't get shadows to work the way I want, and there are some other small  visual bugs too. However, I don't think they are showstoppers. I may post an update later. I'll also most likely knock together a smaller version without park / plaza, and maybe something else. I just had to get this upload off my chest first. ;-)

Bug reports / suggestions are most welcome.

Plop cost:       10.000$
Monthly cost:       100$
Bulldoze cost:      500$

Fabulously realistic. You should consider doing a whole Jubilee Line underground station pack. Southwark station is quite interesting....

Please folks, I hate to talk badly about my own lot, but go easy on the ratings. If it's too big for you, it's not perfect, and not really a 10, now is it?

Anyway, it is certainly not "perfect" anyhow, as it does have some flaws. The point of the new rating system was to avoid all 10's, wasn't it? I myself would say it's "good", but that's it. :-P

I like the shape of the building and from the pic, you did a super job on the lighting. The parks stuff looks a little too smooth, for my taste. Did the original station not have any bushes or flowers nearby? I like a little color near most of my buildings. (Cont'd next post)...

As far as smaller sizes for a future release, perhaps one with the entrance the width between two peristyles, as the smallest one. The medium could be two or three widths. But, they must ALL have the same shape as the large building, IMHO. Nice job, flaws and all. I'll rate you a 7.

Nothing in life is ever perfect but this lot does everything it's suppose to do and is aesthetically pleasing in my cities as well. Don't shortchange yourself Morifari. That is a 10 for me.

this is brilliant. since this is in the bat section, i rate on account of the bat building and how it blends in game. therfore it is almost perfect. (i still don't see anything wrong though)
