The Cougar Fruit Packing Ltd. is the latest in the WMP SPAM Workplaces series. Formerly an independent family concern, it was acquired by a global food brand in the late eighties and, during season, ships several local apple varieties from the local orchards to markets world-wide. Sitting on a 7x6 lot, the company employs 50 permanent staff from the nearby township rather than the transients favoured by the industry in general. While all props have been rendered in HD, the main building - due to its complexity - remains an SD export. Lot Details and Information: Lot size: 7 x 6 tiles Menu position: Transportation - FreightRail Jobs: $ : 45, $$ : 5 Plop cost: $ 2,200 Bulldoze cost: $ 1,000 Monthly cost: $ 110 Power consumption: 60 MWh/month Water consumption: 45 Gallons/month Pollution: Water: 5 over 10 tiles; Garbage: 15 over 10 tiles Dependencies: To ensure the proper functionality, make sure the files mentioned below are installed in the plugins folder. WMP Dependencies: wmp_spam_freight_props.dat wmp_spam_freight_props2.dat (included with main download) wmp_texture10.dat External Dependencies: BSCBATPropsMattb325_Vol02.dat Credits: Thanks go to Rivit for his invaluable assistance in creating the special rail pathing; d_j_p1 for his patient testing of all WMP lots & mods; and Simcoug for suggesting the idea and providing research. Problems? If you have problems with this lot it is most likely that you did not download all the dependencies or - just as likely - that we made a mistake. You can contact us via email at comments@workingman-productions.co.uk. Best to include a screen-shot illustrating the problem.

The (for now) final lot in the WMP SPAM Workplaces series offers you The Crown at the Mill Pup, a smalll rural watering hole in an old, refurbished water mill. The lot, 3x3 in size, uses Pegasus' narrow stream as its water source - the only waterway I found useable for this type of project, employs 10 local yokels to serve its patrons, and is based upon a mill found on the web. All buildings & props have been rendered in HD. Note: The main download includes a second lot/model aimed at lotters, and containing the original mill only. The model is off-set in order to make it usable with ploppable water, and omits the side building, terrace, pub signs, etc. Lot Details and Information: Lot size: 3 x 3 tiles Menu position: Building: Landmark,Building: CS$$ Jobs: 10 C$ Plop cost: $ 600 Bulldoze cost: $ 285 Monthly cost: $ 10 Power consumption: 10 MWh/month Water consumption: 10 Gallons/month Pollution: Garbage: 4 over 4 tiles Dependencies: To ensure the proper functionality, make sure the files mentioned below are installed in the plugins folder. This WMP SPAM Workplace is a spin-off from the ethanol plant. Since the basic incredients were already in place, some managers felt it was high time to do something for the community and revive an old still. Now your rural towns can now produce vodka and other spirits and thereby enlighten the moods of the local populace. The small plant offers employment to seventeen spiritual experts. All props & buildings were rendered in HD. Lot Details and Information: Lot size: 5 x 2 tiles Menu position: Building: IM,Building: Landmark Jobs: 17 Plop cost: $ 750 Bulldoze cost: $ 300 Monthly cost: $ 15 Power consumption: 10 MWh/month Water consumption: 40 Gallons/month Pollution: Water: 5 over 8 tiles; Garbage: 5 over 8 tiles Dependencies: wmp_ethanol_props.dat wmp_texture10.dat Problems? The third in the WMP SPAM Workplace series brings you a rural veterinary clinic: Dr Catellus and his staff of eighteen animal care workers will look after your farm animals, pets, and even the occassional exotic souvenir you brought back from that South American cruise last year. The 6x4 lot provides 18 jobs, and has a drive-through street connection (textures are aimed at SAM rural street overlays), and functions as a small clinic with a capacity of 500. All buildings & props (except for the trees) are rendered in HD. Modelled vaguely on a real grain depot, this second lot in the WMP SPAM Workplaces series, the WMP Grain Freight Depot acts as a small, rural freight station providing fifteen jobs. Being a rural depot, the freight capacity is limited at 7,500. Since this lot uses custom pathed Single-Track Rail, the latest version of NAM is a requirement. Lot Details and Information: Lot size: 6 x 5 tiles Menu position: Building: Transportation,Building: Rail,Building: Strikable Transit,Building: FreightRail Jobs: $ : 15,R-$ : 15 Plop cost: § 850 Bulldoze cost: § 325 Monthly cost: § 23 Power consumption: 21 MWh/month Water consumption: 15 Gallons/month Pollution: Air: 0 over 0 tiles; Water: 2 over 6 tiles; Garbage: 4 over 6 tiles Dependencies: To ensure the proper functionality, make sure the files mentioned below are installed in the plugins folder. This is the first in a series of SPAM (SimPeg Acricultural Mod) workplaces: a large ethanol plant, based roughly on a real-life plant somewhere in the United States. The large lot contains everything needed to create the bio fuel, and employs 145 folks from the surrounding rural area. The plant, while listed as a landmark, also acts as a switch between freight rail and freight trucks. All buildings were rendered in SD to reduce the overall file size, however, all props were exported using HD. The dependencies contain two BSC Prop Packs that, while large, are common enough that most everyone will already own them. An optional Left-Hand Drive patch is available (must be loaded after wmp_texture10.dat). Lot Details and Information Lot size: 11 x 9 tiles Menu position: Building: IM,Building: Landmark Jobs: 145 Plop cost: § 1950 Bulldoze cost: § 965 Monthly cost: § 45 Power consumption: 75 MWh/month Water consumption: 52 Gallons/month Pollution: Air: 0 over 0 tiles; Water: 5 over 5 tiles; Garbage: 10 over 15 tiles Dependencies To ensure the proper functionality, make sure the files mentioned below are installed in the plugins folder. WMP Dependencies: wmp_ethanol_buildings.dat (included) wmp_ethanol_props.dat (included) wmp_texture10.dat (included) optional: wmp_z_ethanol_LHDPaths.dat External Dependencies: SHK_ParkingPack.dat BSCMegaProps - JES Vol05.dat BSC Mega Props - JES Vol01.dat Credits Special thanks have to go to the rambuctious players at SimPeg; in particular to TownMaster (for his in-depth lectures on how these plants work, and Polock1 (for suggesting the idea & going out of his way to photograph a local plant); Thanks also go to Rivit for creating the custom pathing; Dave for his patience with testing this stuff; and shokthrpy for his superb parking props. Problems? If you have problems with this lot it is most likely that you did not download all the dependencies or - just as likely - that we made a mistake.
