Well, there are some good votes out there. The Chicago area is quite large for any reference. Here are some cities to add: Omaha, NE: For info since its in the midwest go to www.eomaha.com. I live in Omaha, and to date we have about 800,000 people. Commuting is about 30 minutes from the downtown area. We are sometimes known as the 20 minute city. It is one of our rules; Anywhere in the city on a normal day, should only take only 20 minutes! For traffic types, we mostly have Interstate 80. Omaha is in a grid shape pattern, so it is easy to recreate. The location of the Missouri River at the feet of the Downtown area. An Old Market Area. To be honest, really I havn't found a City with a Country feel with City Advances! Please, check out www.eomaha.com! Kansas City, MO: I don't know much about this city... but when I have visited its mostly old and trashy in a way. That is my opinion, but is a good City to do! St. Louis, MO: A great area! I have went through it once, and everything I saw was well taken care of. However, the downtown is not much to be desired... not very many tall buildings! Sacramento, CA: I don't know much about it, but it is very isolated! How about any city in Ohio Ex: Cleveland or Columbus, I have looked at the map each city is mostly alone by itself.

Hello, I am Matt from Omaha, NE... that is the state in the middle of the US, and the only State with a Unicamral type of Government (for those fo you still in school). I am 20 years old, and am studying Architecture. I don't like to use the computer to do designs, I rather use my own 2 hands, but am thinkful for those of you who do use the comp! I was studying at Iowa State University which is nationally know for Architecture and Engineering! However, I am still a Nebraska fan! For those of you who are aspriing to become Architects, it is a hard major! You need to dedicate a lot of time... more than you can expect to put into it, so be prepaired! Good Luck!

Poole, Diamond and Associates BAT Showcase
mcarch replied to geoff_diamond's topic in SC4 BAT & Lot Workshop
In the middle of the floors where there is like a ventalation floor, it would be cool to put some horizontal lights, like the ones shown above on the Torre Mayor. Otherwise... Great Design! -
The stack looks great. But something is a little strange about it... The columns are a little tall! Can they be shortened just a little... and there are so many of them! Maybe I am a little off because I have never seen one before... if so can someone show me a side picture of how tall and how many columns a real one has? Otherwise it looks great!

About the Mod. When I added the ground fog mod, I noticed that at certain elevations in god mode I couldn't add trees. And also when the mod was in place, I still didn't see fog.

I think the bigger one is better because it is more accurate! Good Job So Far! Keep it up. -
