  1. New Official BAT Request Thread

I would like to see the Panorama Towers from Las Vegas made. Here is a link to a bit of the info. http://www.luxuryrealtygroup.com/panorama-towers.html Also Italian Tuscan style homes with rock fascades. And Art Deco Styled buildings from the early 1900s. Perhaps also some new modern condos, but not too tall or high wealth.
  2. Sheraton Four Points Hotel

This building reminds me of the one on the river between Cincinnati, OH, and Kentucky. Very nice job.
  3. Is it true? I just did a search for the phrase Sim City 5, and according to another fan site, it has officially been announced!! I hope this is true. Another fan site has reported that they announced it recently. MSN listed it in their search results as November 18th, 2005. If this is true, I have not seen any confirmation of this anywhere. I went to the Maxis site, and couldn't find anything there, and also the EA site, and didn't see any news there. I will check Gamespy and see if there is any news there, and get back to you. This has me about as excited as the day that SC4 came out. I never will forget the day that I bought that. I however feel that if it was true, that it would be all over the news here on this site, which has kind of got me believing that this may be a hoax. Anyone know the truth? Or can't I handle the truth.
  4. Where to get GMAX

I noticed that too from that site. I believe there is a charge for the program now. But there is an upgraded version of the Gmax, version 8 I think, available for a charge. I was just curious if that would still work with the Sim City game, and if so, is the program any better than the one that we got from Discreet some time ago? And is it any easier to use. And one more, I swear, how is the format different than the BAT tool if it is?
  5. Astoria Pointe Apartments

Looks like something you would see in Paris. Very historical looking. Nice buildings though. Good job.
  6. 4ms Tour Londres

Finally, a decent looking low wealth residential building.
  7. JBM Colonial House 2

My favorite style of home. Great Job.
  8. NDEX SeaView Tower by Oneil

Can I hire you to design MY house! They just don't come more perfect than this. Awesome job!!
  9. Hampton Arms Condominiums

Finally some $$ wealth homes that aren't too tall. I like these very much. Nice work.
  10. CableLink

When I downloaded this, I thought, cool, more variety, but NOOOooo. Now I have more of these than any other lot. They look good though.
  11. Howell Plastix

Sometimes, factories don't have all that much detail to them. I know because I drive a truck for a living, and get to many factories. Sometimes, it's --elegance in simplicity.
  12. Aspen Village Condominiums Multi Color Version

I downloaded the original a week or two ago, and see them popping up all over town, and i must say, they are some of the nicesest buildings in the game. They fit in with many different styles of buildings. Nice job
  13. Official BAT Request Thread

I would like to see more of the Italian Villa type buildings, like what Cobb has created thus far. I thoroughly enjoy his designs, and would like to see more of them, only in smaller, more 1 family type dwellings. I would also like to see The Olive Garden Restaurant New England Colonial Styled homes (saltbox, or dutch revival) Mount Vernon (George Washington's home) Georgian Colonial homes (with the big 2 story columns. Brick is the theme here) Bloomingdale's Department Store (NYC famous store) FAO Schwartz Toy Store (another famous NYC store) Prarie Style homes (with the wraparound porches, and dormer windows usually 1 & 1/2 stories tall) This is all that comes to mind right now, but I would like to say, while I love the big tall high rise skyscrapers, there are many large cities that don't have a lot of them, so the shorter, meaning 15 stories or less, buildings are more popular in todays cities. The exception being Hong Kong, and ultra modern cities such as those. I would like to see the smaller buildings available, as they lend a certain charm to the city.
  14. Coral Condos

I love the style on this building. I feel like paradise is truly around me, when looking at this building. Unique, and exquisite. Like Ebert and Roper, I give it 2 thumbs up.
  15. The Cobb Royale

I don't know how you do this, but I am glad that you do. Thanks for restyling my cities.
